"What is that?"
I ask Stephanie.
"Other than a golem."

 

"Thanks."

"Thank you, king."

"I read your soul. You're the same as the flower. However, you finally have a good point."

"I'm sure he'll be fine."

 

"Just a golem to keep watch on layers of reality hidden to the naked eye. I'm hoping it'll see Aj before we do." Stephanie says.

"Yeah, I'm sure he'll explain himself when he gets back." Stephanie says.

 

I nod.
Pause.
"Say, do you have any information on the draconian called 'Riihs'?"

DH nods, grinning slightly.
OOC: inb4 Ren breaks the fourth wall and starts ranting about how Riihs ruined one of the potential endings

 

"Hopefully, it will."

 

"He usually does."

"No, new name.
Never heard before."

 

"I see...do you know anything about a person named Sir Robert?"

A certain black dragon walks up to Katie.
"What are you doing?"

 

The golem runs around, looking around like a lost puppy, occassionally stopping and rubbing its eyes.

The head of the ice warrior suddenly lands right next to Rineth, though luckily not on anyone. It melts away, as does its body and Katie's icy form.

 

"No, I haven't.
I live here.
Have whole life."

"Close one, Katie."

 

"I see...well then, I shall be off now. I hope that my accomadations for you shall suffice." I teleport back into the throne room.

A certain black dragon asks Katie again, "What are you doing?"

 

"Oh, sorry." Katie apologises, getting back into the hot spring. She creates small whirlpools with her fingers in the water.

Abigail stirs a little in her sleep; she seems to be waking up.

"I was just fighting; always good to get practise, right?" Katie asks happily.

 

"Yes, though it looked awfully more different when you were getting two ice-things to kill each other."

 

It's quiet.
The sun's setting. Maybe you should check on the night shifts.

"It's okay."

Ragnyon reaches for her staff.
"Katie, could you please help me get out?"

"So, Abigail's probably ticked with me. Drake and I should run."

 

"Yeah, I took control of one and practised attacking, defending and countering. It's quite fun since nobody gets hurt, usually." Katie says happily.

"Oh, sure." Katie says, raising her hands. The water flows up and around Ragnyon, forming a strong exoskeleton of sorts, and icy hands help Ragnyon up

"I would advise it." Stephanie says, taking a red-orange phial out of her cloak and uncorking it.

 

Thinking about the night shifts, I shrug and teleport to the airship docks, thinking Oh, they can check on themselves. I have more pressing matters to attend to.

"I refuse to run. I want to know what the hell is wrong with Abigail. She stopped me from getting any sleep and now I can't fall asleep."
-Void-
HH looks around to see if there is any signs that Pyk has accomplished the task.

"But don't the ice creatures get hurt? They ARE sentient beings, are they not?"

 

"They're just ice that's being controlled by me. Their sentience is just me controlling them, my sentience really, they're not their own being," Katie says, "Imagine them as splinters of myself. Sure, they may act like they're individuals, but I'm really behind them."

 

"I see...and why did it look like you were having lots of fun while they were tearing each other apart?"

 

"Because it's fun to crush those weaker than you! To destroy all who may oppose you!" Katie says, a slight hint of evil in her voice. She forms an ice sculpture in the shape of one of her ice warriors and bites its head off.

 

DH eyes Katie, before saying nonchalantly, "I see that you've turned into one of them."

 

"Talk to me telepathically if you need something."
Ruby vanishes.


"Thanks, Katie."

It looks a lot better than it had. Half the workers salute, the other half have their face in machinery.

Since Pyk isn't there, that's a good sign.
