"Ah. Well, adventuring IS dangerous, after all. You know I used to be an adventurer like you guys..."

 

Abigail stands a short distance from the group, playing with fire in a fashion that would be considered most definitely dangerous if she were not immune to it.

"Did you take an arrow in the knee?" Artemis asks, smiling.

"What's the matter? Somebody steal your sweetroll?" I ask.

 

"Huh? Ah no. I just went on to build a stronghold."
OOC: Yesssss the joke was completed

 

OOC: I'm playing Skyrim right now, you psychic demon you!

"No lollygaggin'" I say.

"Do you miss your stronghold?" Artemis asks.

 

"A bit. It was a simpler time back then. No Draconians, no deities, no vengeful feuds, etcetera. Of course, I know it's in good hands. Then again, there's still..." I start murmuring things.

 

"I'd be a lot warmer and a lot happier with a bellyful of mead..." I say to nobody in particular.

"Things really changed once we got here, didn't they?" Artemis asks.

"Would you say that our lives got turned upside down?" I ask, grinning.

 

"Huh?!" I reply, snapping back to reality.

"Oh, uh, sure." I reply nonsensically.

 

"You look like you spaced out a bit there." Artemis says.

A wooden hand gives Artemis a cup of nature elixir, which she offers to you, "Here, it'll restore your focus." Artemis says.

 

"Ah, no thanks. It's just that..." I delve back into my fit of murmers.

 

Artemis drinks the elixir instead, watching you space out.

 

After a while of murmuring, I return to reality. "Ah, sorry. I just have something on my mind. Mind if you be my soundboard?"

 

"Uh, sure!" Artemis says.

"I volunteer too." I say.

 

"Fine. Its just that...I'm not sure if my stronghold can hold if he comes back."

 

"'He'?" I ask, curious.

OOC: Bingo, right on the spot. In case it's accepted, this is some lovely exposition for a potential conflict.
"The one who gave me my sword. It's just that...I don't like his aura. I'm not even sure if the captains I elected have good enough diplomatic skills."

 

OOC: I mean, it's pretty obvious. You were like a five year old on christmas day when Exvhius said there was an available slot.

"Pssh, we can take him. I've taken down the king and queen of light, you think I can't handle some spooky guy who gives out swords?" I boast.

"You know..you're right, actually. He's probably really weak on the inside."

"No trouble for the big three times two!" Artemis says happily.

 

"No." She mutters.

Sure enough, there's a map.

There's a hospital a couple blocks down.

"Why do we need her magic suppressed anyways?" Reed asks while walking, looking back at Daras.

 

I walk to the hospital, opening the doors leading inside. I take a seat in the waiting room, looking at my surroundings.
