Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

I continue to sit by her, and wait for her to get up.

In the meantime, I watch what Abigail's doing.

 

Abigail seems to be cutting into one of Iruk's blades. The blade's been cut, and she appears to be cutting into the hilt with a light blue flame.

 

"Losing one or two isn't too bad."

 

I simply keep watching.

OOC: You don't need to update me on everything. I can see your posts with Exvhius.

 

Abigail cuts the hilt in half, and observes the innards of the two halves of the blade.

OOC: I know but...I sort of felt I needed to respond with something.

 

OOC: Alright.

 

"Thanks. I'll need it." I reply, drawing my sword. I immediately lunge at the blade, jump up and bring my sword down, casting the spell of light as I do so.

 

There's some circuitry and wiring, parts of which she's never seen before. It's also extremely small; one of the wires breaks when she tries to examine it.

The magic seems to do nothing, and you bend the blade.

 

"Ah sh*t." Abigail curses as she breaks the wire.

Abigail decides to carefully cut out the circuitry and wiring to get a better look at them.

"Well, reverse engineering this thing shouldn't be too hard." Abigail says, slipping down her visor. It glows, scanning over the parts and showing where electricity would flow.

 

"Whew..."

Seems the device she's never seen before is a small generator. Electricity flows to the bottom of the hilt; seems the blades power Iruk.

 

"Ah, I see how this works. These shouldn't take too long to make, hopefully." Abigail says. She carefully takes out the generator to look at it.

 

It's extremely small, but seems to be producing energy from nothing. She can't figure how it works, nonetheless how to open it to look at the inner workings.

"Artemis? Could you maybe tell us what happened while you were in the Shadow Realm?"

 

OOC: Which blade

 

OOC: Bane. I'd say your blade if it got damaged.

 

OOC: Ok.
"Well then." I comment, before attempting to cut the handle off.

 

This time, you succeed.
"I never expected to see it broken."
The blade seems to be covered in a distortion.
"Wh..."
As the distortion fades, it's a spearhead.
"That's not what I hoped would happen! Now it's even easier to end Mistress with it... Please, try breaking it again."

 

I eye it curiously. "I think I'll try one more time to test something out." I back up, and then charge at it, jumping up and bringing my sword down on it.

 

You put a split in it that goes halfway down the middle.

 

"Hmm..,this won't do..,this won't do at all." I back up, and proceed to do the same thing at the spearhead.

 

It splits the rest of the way, then the distortion appears.
It reforms as two smaller daggers.
"No... They can't really be... We need sacrifices to cast these into Oblivion. Thanks for your help, but this won't do..."
