"Oh. Make up one for him, then."

 

"I'd rather make one up for someone that doesn't have or remember one, than make one up for someone that has one. If he wanted me to call him something, he'd tell me his name, anyways."

 

"Calling him something dumb may be motivation. As for me, I'd rather not be named after the word 'slave,' but I guess it works."

 

"Eh. I like being respectful. And it doesn't bother me too much."

 

"Yeah..." I say, pulling away and wiping the tears from my face, "I guess being around you for so long has started to affect me."

I head into the dining hall, where the others have already seated themselves.

"What took you so long?" Artemis asks as she sees me walk over.

"I was just talking to Ihra in private about something." I say, sitting next to Artemis.

 

OOC: So that's what DD stands for then?
EDIT: Whoops premature post... ignore this everyone, except for Rawb.

 

"Suit yourself."

Ihra looks around the dining room for any traces of blood from the earlier brawl. Or, you know, the broken table.
Sitting down near but not next to you, she sighs in relief.
"Whew... sorry to be pushy, but I'd like to get going sooner over later. It's giving me a bit of a headache."

 

(What happened to the void sparring match)

"Ah, nice to meet you."

OOC: That's for Dragon Drake. The correct term is Dragon Helianthus.

"Come on, I went first last time. Let's see if you're better on offense than you are defense."

"Same. Why don't you tell us your name?"

 

I take him talking as his move, and then I Immediately begin firing at him with my crossbow.
----
I nod, and proceed to remain silent.

 

He holds his bow to the side, blocking with his broadsword's blade while strafing.

"Dodging the question, eh? You're hiding something. The Hive Master did that too."

 

I continue firing at him while running in a circle around him.

"Ah, you got me. My name has been, and always will be, Sir Robert."

 

"So, I heard you used magic last time. Mind if I follow suit?"

He continues blocking, then puts more distance between you two.

"Robert? Nice to meet you, I guess."

 

I grin.

"No rules against it, go ahead."

I then throw my crossbow to the ground and charge at him, blade pointed directly at his heart.

I nod. "Would you like some tea?"

 

An earthen spike knocks you flying into the top of the barrier, his broadsword and bladed bow awaiting you below.

"No throat, sorry. I've always wondered what it tasted like, though."

 

I grin, blinking right behind him and thrusting my sword at him.

"It depends. The tea I drink helps me not sleep. It contains some kind of substance that essentially keeps me awake."

 

Needles fly out from his tail, piercing your armor as your blade pierces his chest. You can't move your blade far enough in to kill.
"Tail's saved my life more times than there are needles in you, buddy. I'd ask you what it's like being paralyzed, but you couldn't tell me with your mouth paralyzed too. So, let's just say round two goes to me."
He fires his broadsword straight through your face.

As everything goes dark, the area looks like it did before the duel.
"Good fight. Sly, but never forget the needler."
He offers a handshake.

The healer glares at you, knowing it was a 'stolen' ability.

 

I grin, and accept the handshake. "Wait a second, you never did tell me your name, did you?" I ask him.

 

"I reckon I didn't. I'm Kyle. You are?"

 

"Helianthus. Try not to spread it around, though. I like to make sure The Big Three are always in the dark."
