Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Sure, we can call you something else. I'm no good with names, so Iruk seems nice, if you're fine with the conditions of that."
I say, clearly taking the first part of his password.

 

"Yep." I reply, stretching.

 

"Kill everyone." Ihra mutters telepathically.

"Iruk? Okay. I didn't have a name, anyways. I guess that works."

"Hehe... You could've just asked."

 

"I killed the guards in the dining hall because they were out of control. The white violin is a powerful instrument, and I used it to protect you," Shadow Stephanie thinks, "They were going to kill you, Ihra."

A while later, Katie exits her room, dressed in her usual blue scaled armour.

"I guess it's time for breakfast." I say, smiling at Artemis.

The group heads toward the elevator at the end of the hallway.

 

"Didn't think you did, if you were just used to kill people the Hive Master wanted dead. Oh well. It's like that for a lot of robots."

 

"Maybe I'll actually be able to eat this time. Abigail already ate, by the way."

"Yeah... Do you have a name?"

 

"Where is Abigail anyway? Did you see where she went?" I ask, turning the dials in the elevator.

 

I eye him suspiciously, before shrugging and getting to position, drawing my sword and my crossbow.

 

"Just Thirteen. I'll talk to you about it another time if you want to hear a story."

 

"Not since the guard wouldn't let me out of the dining hall."

"Ready?"
He nocks his broadsword again.

"It's fine."

 

"He's dead now, at least," Shadow Stephanie says, "I'm sure Abigail hasn't gotten herself in too much trouble."

I turn the centre dial, and as expected, everything goes black. It seems less noticable now, like simply blinking.

The group finds themselves outside the dining hall. A new guard seems to wait by the door. She smiles as she sees the group.

As the group heads toward the dining hall, I pull Ihra to one side.

"Hey, Ihra, I just wanted to tell you something..." I say, somewhat nervously.

 

"What is it?"

 

"Now we wait."
Pause.
"Do you know anything about how you were built that you didn't mention?"

 

"Not that I can remember. I've never seen others built, nor was I conscious during my construction."

 

"Well...You're always progressing towards this big thing with you and Xlentia...and I guess, in a sense, our time with you as 'Ihra' is sort of limited, so...I just wanted to say..." I trail off.

I suddenly hug Ihra, "I'm going to miss these times. You're one of the sweetest people I know, and you're very precious to all of us," I say, "I know you need to do this stuff with Xlentia...but...I don't think there's any going back. I'm going to miss you, Ihra. I'm going to miss you as yourself."

I hug Ihra tighter.

 

OOC: Now that I think about it, does Iruk have any skin?

 

She hugs you back.
"I'm only halfway. I'm sure it only goes uphill from here. I'd be dead without you, never forget that."
She sniffles.

OOC: Yes, but it's all made of metal crafted to look like skin/scales.

 

"Oh. Did you personally know anyone else? Sorry for all the questions, I'm just curious."

 

"Nope, nothing past the fact sometimes I had to work with another bot."

 

"What were some other missions you had to take on?"
