"Hail. Who are you?"

 

He nudges your hand before turning to the broken thing on the ground.

The one with the grey robe bows, attaching his weapons to the back of his robe.
"My name is Riihs, and this is my leader, Tirai."
Tirai nods at you, resting his hammer on his shoulder.
"We were sparring, but we didn't think anyone else was nearby. Forgive us for disturbing you."

 

"Come on boy. Don't touch that. It could short circuit you! Remember what happened when you got struck by lightning that one time? Don;t make this a repeat..."

 

"But I promised-"
I look straight at Xephyr.
"Can you try to find Nyre and distract him for me? I need to find out what happened in the Darklands."

 

He whines before stepping back.

"Yeah, just give me a minute to rest..."
She kneels, breathing heavily.

 

"Ok, I'll find out what's going on in the Darklands."
I teleport to Runetrel (OOC: You said a seaside town and that is the only one so yeah) and look for the monster.

 

A leviathan waits just off the coast. The citizens are all inside or at arms.

 

"come on boy... What's wrong?"

I approach the thing again...

 

It doesn't respond.

Sparky nudges your hand, then sits near you.
(He heard you drop the device and is worried about your hand)

 

I approach the leviathan and say to it, "Xibu bsf zupv epjoh ifs?" (What are you doing here?)

 

It looks at you strangely. A lady with a flowing blue dress climbs on top of the leviathan's head.
"It's their native language; that wasn't a threat."
She looks up at you.
"My pet and I don't mean any harm, we were taking a day to explore when Kai accidentally sunk a fishing boat... I told him to get closer so I could apologize, but then he felt I was being threatened and wouldn't listen."

 

"Oh... ok? Err... you have a gigantic pet leviathan?"
I look at the leviathan then back at her.
"So who are you?"

 

(ah ok)

"Oh, its ok boy. My hand's fine. It was just a little shock. Lets look around for some rubber. Perhaps we can make some shock-proof gloves and then see what's going on"

We look around for some rubber.

OOC: Do we find any?

 

"He's usually good." She laughs, petting it.
"My name is Aria, one of the three Daughters of Storms. I hail from Serik'aath, a village pretty far south of here."

You don't find any rubber, but Sparky stops worrying about your hand.

 

OOC: I know what might happen next... but my character won't so yeah.
"The only place I know of in the south is the Lost Kingdom."

 

"We used to be attacked by them... Since they fell, we've known only peace, kept hidden by our goddess."

 

OOC: Would Eras have known about this Goddess beforehand or not? I'm guessing not.

 

No, he wouldn't.

 

OOC: Yeah, I was right...
"Another Goddess? I haven't heard of another Goddess..."

 

Kai isn't a big fan of that statement.
"She's kind of shy, we end up being accused of believing a rumor since she sedom shows herself."
She pets the Leviathan, trying to get it to calm down.
