Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Fine, fine, though I like saying 'It is Bane' in that voice." I say, slashing at the dummy.

"Although, my training isn't just for Bane. It's also for when I get my revenge against The Big Three."

 

The doors lead into an operating room.

Stephanie lies unconscious on the operating table, clothing removed for the sake of the operation. A mask covers her mouth, which seems to be assisting her breathing. A large cut is visible on her chest, with a few vines leading into it; they look like they're pumping blood. Stephanie's wounds seem to be healed, and a bag of blood hangs nearby. Stephanie's legs are no longer bent in ways they shouldn't be too; but there are two pairs of long, deep cuts along her legs. A small tray resides nearby, containing numerous pieces of shattered bone. A pair of forest guardians seem to be still picking out fragments of bone from her legs.

"How's she holding up?" Shadow Stephanie asks, putting a mask over her mouth.

"She's looking much better. We've managed to heal all of the external wounds, and we've removed her poison blood. She's accepting the new blood well. Her legs and internal wounds still need work, though. Her legs were completely shattered; there's no chance at healing her bones there. We need to put in new ones as soon as we finish getting the pieces of the hold ones out. We also need to get into her organs; some of them were damaged along with her wounds, so they need to be healed." A doctor explains, taking a surgical knife.

"How bad are the internal wounds?" Shadow Stephanie asks.

"Most likely not too bad, yet we need to find out." The doctor says. He draws a line over Stephanie's torso, then carefully inserts the surgical knife. He follows the line with the knife, cutting Stephanie open. A few more cuts later, and Stephanies torso is held open. It seems like her internal organs where badly damaged too.

A forest guardian starts carefully winding small vines around each damaged organ, trying to heal them.

"Um, Stephanie...could I leave for a bit?" Artemis asks.

Shadow Stephanie hands Artemis a bag labelled 'Vomit', and Artemis runs out.

 

"You won't get revenge with technique and strength like that. You'd be exiled in a moment! Come on, try this."
The guard hands you their broadsword. It's about half your height and maybe a quarter of your weight.
"If you want to do real damage, put more than speed in your swing."

"I... I'm a failure..." Ihra mutters.
She casts a spell that removes the bone fragments in Stephanie's legs.

 

"Oh, thank you." One of the forest guardians at Stephanie's legs says. They start placing a strange substance into Stephanie's legs.

"Here, you'll need to put one of these on." Shadow Stephanie says, handing Ihra a mask like her own and the surgeons'.

The vines around one of Stephanie's organs are removed; the organ completely healed. Stephanie remains peacefully asleep, blissfully unaware of the operation.

 

She puts it on.
"What's it for?"
She gives the Forest Guardians more energy to operate with.

Ability(ies): I understand this one can be a bit lengthy. I have an ability to make and control blue flames, (if it's okay, the abillity to fly)

"It's for health and safety reasons; stops the spread of bacteria from your breath from getting into Stephanie." Shadow Stephanie says.

The forest guardians at Stephanie's legs seem to have filled most of her legs with the substance. They wrap her legs in vines and start healing them.

 

Sorry, god slots are full, but it's now kind of (extremely) important to be familiar with at least some of the lore before joining.
Else I'd repeat myself infinity and a half times.
(And I still feel like I do sometimes)

"What's a bacteria?"
Ihra looks for a way to help.

 

"They're tiny organisms that cause colds and other illnesses. They're not good." Shadow Stephanie says.

It looks like most of Stephanie's organs still need to be healed.

Then can I be a inhabitant pls, you can cancel out the blue flame thing and I would use the bow. (But i would still like to use the blue flame pls)

 

"Why can't you just kill them, then?"
Ihra just steps back, unsure of how to help and unwanting to mess something up.

Sure, but could you reformat the app to the inhabitant? The two are slightly different.
(Please explain to me in conversation what you mean by 'the blue flame,' if you wouldn't mind)

 

"We do, but they're so small and there are so many it's impossible to get all of them." Shadow Stephanie says.

"You don't have to stay here if you don't want to. Do you want to leave and wait for the operation to finish?" Shadow Stephanie asks, noticing Ihra's hesitance.

 

"I don't know. I'm supposed to be a healer. I don't know how to- wait.
Um... do the doctors have everything where it should be? I can't change it physically, but as long as it's where it's supposed to be, I can mend it..."

 

"You could help with her legs." One of the forest guardians healing her legs says.

 

"I'll try..."

Try was the wrong word. After a spell and a few (hundred totally-not-suspicious floating) sigils, Stephanie's legs are pretty much what they were before the hunt.

 

"Ah, thank you. You've helped a lot and saved a lot of work." The forest guardian says.

The pair move to Stephanie's torso, healing her organs too.

"I'll see if I can find an appropriate reward for you when this is over." Shadow Stephanie says happily.

 

"I've been told about past events. Consider this my repayment for when Aj stashed my almost-dead self into a room void of light."
Ihra continues speeding up the process.

"Oh, I believe that's when we first met. Feels like just yesterday." Shadow Stephanie says.

Stephanie's organs heal quite quickly, and after a while, the trio of forest guardians close her torso; healing the cut, making it look like it was never even there. They remove the vines from Stephanie's heart and close her chest.

"She's been healed, she just needs some time to recover on her own." The doctor says, taking off Stephanie's oxygen mask.

A nurse wheels a bed in, and Stephanie is carefully placed on it. The nurse takes Stephanie away, and Shadow Stephanie follows.

 

It's pretty clear you don't know much about the lore.
I recommend you read a bit (not all) of the rp and go through the report thread to get a feel for where the storyline is going.
