Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"That would certainly help, thank you." Myria shouts up.

"I'm right here." I say, puzzled, standing next to Artemis.

The pair of red eyes seems to be drawing closer.

 

You steal a small barrier projection ability.
"It's one of three left of its kind. Isn't it pretty?"

OOC: He stole a breath-triggered spell that revives dead flora.

"Then who's that?"

 

"Certainly. Do you mind telling me what the Void flower specifically does, and why it is presumably very important"
OOC: Do you think that would work on DH if he turns back into a flower and dies?

 

"Alright, let's go." Myria says, turning to leave.

"I'm...not sure."

A Shadow approaches the group, about 2/3rds my size, holding a scroll.

"S-Sir, your presence has been requested." The Shadow says, handing me the scroll.

"What? You mean in the realm's palace?" I ask, taking and unbinding the scroll.

"Y-Yes, a Light Creature wishes to s-speak with you and h-her majesty." The Shadow says, bowing.

I open the scroll and read through it. As I read, I ask, "Do you know the whereabouts of her form?"

"Sh-She's there too. H-her majesty found her and took her back." The Shadow says, still bowing.

 

"Aye." I follow Myria from the sky, keeping out for anyone that looks like Stephanie.

 

"It only grows in The Void naturally. It can be used for potent elixirs, but I like them because they're pretty."

OOC: It would revive the body, yes.

"The what? Can I come?"
"Ihra, I don't think..."
"I don't care. Aj, can I?"

 

"Interesting...is there a reason why this is the only Void flower left?"

 

"The Hive Master abused them to amplify his control over our people. There are three left, and this is the only one here."

 

"I see...what's your name?"

 

"Pyk."
She's even more wary of you.

 

"That won't be neseccary anymore, it seems." I call.

"Sure, why not. You can have all the honey and cookies you want in the dining hall." I say, smiling.

"S-Sir, are you sure b-brining an outsider to such a r-royal event is a good idea?" The shadow asks, "T-The light creature speaks o-of a powerful being. I-I'm not sure b-bringing her is the b-best thing to do."

"I said she can come, so she can come. Don't forget who I am." I say, glaring at the Shadow.

"Y-Yes sir. S-sorry sir, of c-course sir." The Shadow says.

"If Ihra's going, I want to go too!" Abigail says.

"Yeah, it sounds like fun!" Katie says.

"I want to tag along too." Artemis says.

"Sure, everyone can come." I say happily.

"S-Sir!" The Shadow tries to protest.

"I'll put them in the dining hall. There they're out of the way." I say.

"Alright s-sir." The shadow says submissively.

 

"Alright then, Pyk. Can you tell me what's your favorite plant or flower her?"

"Fine!" I land.

 

"Want to come with us to...uh..." Katie seems to have trouble speaking.

"Shadow Palace." I say.

"Shadow Palace!" Katie says, smiling.

The Shadow seems to be getting more nervous by the second.

 

"Don't you dare lose the Chosen One!" Ragnyon barks, worried.

"Are we going to a castle?!"

"The Void Flower. I think it's very pretty; if it's healthy and exposed to sunlight, it's an unforgettable sight."

 

I remain silent. "I'd rather not." I say.

I lean in to Katie, and whisper in a low voice, "Remember."

"Interesting...tell me Pyk, are you good in combat?" I say in an unnerving tone.
-Overworld-
I walk over to Ragnyon. "My other body knows where a void flower is, if that information interests you." I look around to see where Ruby is.

 

She runs off, hyperventilating.

Ruby's in the spring.
"If you know where one is, leave it be."

 

I remain silent, clearly confused. I wait for a while to see if she returns.
-Overworld-
"Alright. Are you going with Aj and the group? Cause if you aren't I'd like to ask you several things while my other body is exploring the palace."

 

You can see her hiding behind a shrub.
"Have mercy, I don't want to die..."

"No. That'd be a disaster with me like this."

 

"Excuse me? I'm not going to kill you. The Mistress would probably kill me for attacking someone who works at her palace."

"Alright, good. Well, do you know the draconian named 'Pyk'?"

 

"No... no, I don't know how to fight. I tend the gardens..."
