Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"That's called Honey, and it's made by bees who pollinate the fruit trees. They store it these pieces of honeycomb." Artemis says, holding up the honeycomb.

"I'm 90% sure that's edible. Probably." I say.

Artemis hands Ihra the basket of fruits and honey.

 

Nothing special, nothing noticeable.

"Thanks!"
She takes the basket, sits down, then goes through the fruits. It seems that the sweeter the fruit, the more she likes it. The pits just melt.
"Also, what do you mean you're not sure? Is the honeycomb poisonous or something?"

 

I attempt to steal an ability from a random person.
OOC: This is like a grab bag

 

"No, it's just some people don't like the texture." I say.

A few mango, coconut and banana trees grow around Artemis and Ihra as Myria walks over, smiling.

"I see you like fruit." Myria says happily.

Artemis hugs her mother.

 

Nothing. Again.

She eats it, then spits it out.
"Tastes weird. Yeah, fruit is nice."

 

I attempt to steal an ability from Ragnyon again.

 

You copy something, but don't know what it is.

"Trash." I attempt to steal an ability from Vir
OOC: What was it anyways?

 

A banana, mango and coconut fall into Ihra's basket. A pair of vine hands cut the coconut in half; the coconut milk residing in one half of the coconut.

"I'm glad you think so. It's very healthy, and is a good source of energy." Myria says, smiling.

A strawberry and blackberry bush grow beside Ihra's basket, depositing their fruit into it.

"Enjoy." Myria says happily.

OOC: Oh jeez, not like I have characters with abilities.

 

OOC: Wait, has it become sort of like a passing honor to have an ability stolen from you? Also, don't your characters hate it when I do that?

 

OOC: They dislike it, but you seem to be having terrible luck with the others. Maybe you could try taking an ability from a newer character...

(Myria)

 

OOC: No. She will kill me. She will kill me. I know it all too well.

 

OOC: Try it. I'm sure she won't mind too much.

 

You get smited again.
OOC: Foresight

"I like the taste. It's like the tough grass that people use to make sugar! It's really sweet. And thanks!"
She continues to try the various fruits, taking a liking to strawberries, mangoes, and cherries in particular.
And of course the honey.

 

I attempt to steal an ability from Ihra again.
OOC: Is it good or bad? Also, I think it's funny how to an outsider it looks like I get struck by lightning every once in a while

OOC: I don't know. Being able to see into the future might be good.

 

"Oh, you must mean sugar cane!" Myria says happily, growing a patch of sugar cane. The sugar cane falls into Ihra's basket.

Artemis grows a few grape vines around Ihra, which drop grapes into her basket.

"So...are we just giving Ihra a buffet of fruits now?" I ask.

"I don't see why not if she likes it." Artemis says, smiling,

OOC: Ahh so that was what it was. Shame my character has no idea about it.
I attempt to steal an ability from Rineth
OOC: Does the afterlife count as a different dimension?

 

She goes straight for the sugar cane.
"Have you ever considered that giving her sugar might not be the best idea?"

OOC: You can't steal an ability from a corpse.

 

OOC: Fine
I attempt to steal an ability from Vir again. After all, third time's a charm.
