Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"You should be able to be accurate while moving, anyways. You don't get to play that card."

 

"Try me." The cloaked man says. You feel him grinning. He loads his crossbow. "Drake, the blindfold." He says, memorizing the place off the grape. I toss a blindfold to him, which he puts on.

 

"Hope you have a steady aim. Nobody wants you taking off your own head... I think."
I say, a bit worried.

"Personally, I haven't seen much art in my lifetime."
I start saying to Stephanie.
"Though, from what I know about it, it's a nice expression of creativity, to put it a certain way."

 

"I don't." The cloaked man says, spinning in a 360 degree circle, and firing his crossbow after spinning. The bolt hits the grape, pretty much obliterating it. "How did I do?" The cloaked man asks Thirteen, taking off his blindfold.

 

"Unless Drake has purple blood, you hit the grape spot on."

 

"That's pretty good." The cloaked man says, sitting down. "How about a sparring match while I wait for Ruby?"I've busied myself with cleaning goop and fruitsoff my head.

 

"Maybe just some traditional training rather than sparring. I know how to handle a sword, and I know how to handle a crossbow, but I wasn't exactly made for that. Also, it hasn't really been too long since we last sparred."

 

"But you see, the thing here is, you were fighting a flower. You weren't fighting me with my full capabilities" The cloaked man replies, "Of course, I can't force you, lest I risk war." It seems I've flown off.

 

"Yeah, if you can, as a flower, grow vines more than twice my size, summon water spears, throw fireballs, summon exploding brick walls, and control strikes of lightning, I don't even want to know what you can do not as a flower."

 

"For starters, I have lesser control over magic. I also can't grow vines. And, most important of all, I can't grow and use communication flowers, so if you hide, you're pretty much truly hidden. Also, I can't descend into the ground to dodge attacks."

 

"...Alright, well, let's go someplace where we won't hurt anyone."
I start running far away from the group.

 

The cloaked man follows, walking at a brisk pace.

 

After a ways away from the group, I pull out my sword.
When the man comes, I say to him, "Your move first,"
And briskly run a bit of a ways away.

 

"Regular rules. First to bleed or tap out is out. No killing." I say, landing in between you and the cloaked man. The cloaked man pulls out his crossbow, and sends a barrage of bolts towards you.

 

"Alright."
I say, before rocketing to the side and dodging the bolts.
I fly up into the air, and go above you.

 

OOC: To make things easier, I'll refer to my their body (human) in first person for the duration of the match.
I continue firing bolts at you, keeping my resolve.

 

OOC: Thanks.
I dive down at you, with using the rockets, with my sword in a way with will block arrows coming towards my head.

 

I backpedal to the side, drawing my spear, prepared to stab you when you get in range.

 

I start using my rockets, and try coming at you from an arc. I keep my blade in front of me. I keep my left hand free to try and push your spear aside.

 

I roll to the side, drawing my sword as well and keeping my crossbow inside my cloak. It seems I am ready for a full on melee assault.
