Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

I start to count how many men died on the past battle play the three scouts.

 

I end up grabbing Abigail anyway, causing us to fall to the ground. Abigail screams, trying to protect herself using her arms.

I get off Abigail, "It's ok, I'm back." I say, trying to calm Abigail.

Abigail lies shaking on the ground, tears running down her face.

"I guess there's only one thing for it to get rid of this thing." I say, unsheathing Shadow Katana and pointing it at my chest.

 

You lost two thirds of your men.

 

I inform the families.

 

"No you don't."
Ruby uses the last of her energy to knock you away from Shadow Katana, but then passes out again, the boots saving her from her fate.

Seems most of them already know. They're mourning, others are working until they're overcome by grief.

 

"Unfortunately, I do." I say, getting up; Shadow Katana re-appearing in my hand.

"I'll be back in a bit." I say, before casually cutting myself in half with Shadow Katana; destroying whatever external force was controlling me. The two halves of me dissipate and come together, forming a Shadow Crystal.

 

I tell my advisor that if I don't come back, he can take control of the tribe for me, since I have no successor. I take a poison from the tribe's storage, and start to walk to the one o the enemy watering holes.

 

The lack of foresight was... killer.

As she was on you, she melted into the ground, thoroughly dead.

All that remaims of her, aside from screams, are her horns, wings, and boots.

Ihra runs over and faints at the sight.

Worried, he reluctantly lets you go out.

The well is heavily guarded.

 

"I thought that for the first few weeks. After a few years, in which I was fully conscious the whole time, it started to get a lot more than just boring. I thought I would be inside the vision forever. Luckily, it doesn't take any time at all, but in the vision itself it seemed the full... I'm not sure. Basically, the time it took for this world to form from the beginning of the Void... if you can really call it a beginning."

Aura's scales start to flake and fall off. There are silver-white scales underneath.

I say, "That confirms my suspicions then..."

Arnold goes to the fifth floor and searches for books in the Dark Script above the entrance.

 

OOC: Can you describe everything thoroughly?

 

OOC: What. I thought she was with Abigail and used some special force to knock Aj away. Jeez, I blame you for this.

My shadow crystal remains amongst her remains.

Abigail, having got up after the screaming, simply stares at her remains in awe.

Double OOC combo: Can we get a rewind on this? I was getting attached to Ruby.

 

"Yikes..."

Sgavrinn sniffs at the shed scales.

She's blacked out, laying on you on the ground.
"Please don't... You promised Ihra!"

 

I sigh, "Do you want me to get rid of this external force or not? Or can you remove it some other way?" I respond.

I make sure none of Ruby is touching the ground.

 

"Yeah, but killing yoursef? Why?! There has to be another way. Also, I have no idea how awkward this looks, but believe me when I say I'll compensate you for however awkward this looks."

 

"I would say that was the worst because of how long it was, but I've used the red pillar, which contains all events from all the conflicts involving the Darklands..."

They smell rusty and metallic. The metal seems to be made out of a number of things: most of it is iron, but it also contains malachite and a few other metals Sgavrinn can't recognise.
Aura moves away from Sgavrinn slightly so the scales don't fall on him.

Arnold picks the nearest book in Dark Script and reads it.

 

OOC: Can you describe the watering hole and the guards in great detail so I can make my descision?

 

"Killing myself would kill the force too. Besides, I'd form a crystal and come back new," I respond, "Also, this looks really, really awkward. If Artemis were to see, then we'd both probably be dead."

 

"Ooh..."

"Sadly, he is not-" The voice is cut off by an earth shattering (literally) roar as a giant claw rises from a massive crevice created by the tremors. The claw grabs the barbarian troops and drags them down into the crevice, and their screams are drowned out by another deafening roar.
