"Strange..."

"Yes. I did keep a promise to Ruby... But they're done here."

 

Idala says, "It also has a very strange soul... it's as if the soul itself is shattered, except at the same time it isn't."

 

"More paradoxes. Great."

 

"Very good, Ruby." I say repeating the process.

After a few rounds, Katie finally manages to hit me.

"Yes! I win!" She shouts.

"You would, if Abigail, Stephanie and Ihra had been able to hit me too." I say.

Abigail jumps me, "DODGE THIS!" She shouts.

I step out of the way, tapping her with the stick, "You're out." I say, grinning.

 

After a few more rounds, Ihra accidentally disarms you.
"Uh... Does that count?"

 

"Excellent work, Ihra!" I say happily, before commencing another round.

Katie hits me a few more times, and Abigail just gets more frustrated.

"GOD DAMMIT WHY CAN'T I HIT YOU!?" Abigail shouts, annoyed. As she throws her arms up in frustration, she manages to hit me; scarring the blank's chest.

"It seems you have, good work, Abigail." I say.

I tap Abigail two more times while she celebrates.

 

"Try focusing." Ruby mutters, rolling her eyes.
Ihra blocks your strikes, but it seems fast strikes aren't her thing.

In retrospect, what would you expect from an axe that big?

 

Stephanie eventually gets a hit on me, as Abigail, Katie, Ihra and Ruby do too.

"Does that mean we've won?" Stephanie says, gasping for air.

"Yes, excellent work." I say happily.

Abigail falls to the ground, "Finally, we can stop..." She says happily.

"Now, we begin stage two." I say, grinning.

"What." Abigail says, getting back up.

"You're not allowed to use your weapons now, just your hands. There may come a time where you're facing an enemy and you become disarmed; you'll need to be prepared for this," I say, "Same rules as last time, just no use of weapons."

I commence another round, and, unsurprisingly, Katie, Abigail and Stephanie fail to prevent getting hit or hitting me.

 

Ihra's tail is a lot more adept than her claws.
She eventually gives up and just constantly tries to blast you with a shockwave.

Ruby wasn't using a weapon in the first place and decides to throw you in various directions.

 

Noticing Ihra's use of magic, Katie summons multiple ice hands around her to help her block and attack; Stephanie uses some of her crystals to attack too.

As expected, with the multiple hands, Katie manages to land a hit on me.

"Ihra, Ruby, Katie, keep up the good work. Stephanie, Abigail, you'd be dead by now if this was a real fight." I say. The blank by now is covered in scars and other wounds, yet it doesn't seem to do anything.

 

"Abigail, stop panicking."

 

"HE'S JUST SO HARD TO HIT!" Abigail screams, as I tap her again.

After a few more rounds, Stephanie manages hit me with one of her crystals, which cuts my left arm off.

"Very good, Stephanie." I say, despite being down an arm.

Abigail starts punching in random directions, and eventually hits me.

"God freaking dammit finally." Abigail says, exhausted.

"So...what's Stage 3?" Katie asks nervously.

"Now, you have to hit me without using magic, with your eyes closed." I say, grinning.

"This is impossible." Abigail says, as Katie's ice hands melt away.

 

Ihra starts flailing about.

Ruby keeps throwing you.
"You realize I'll die if I stop using magic..."

 

"I meant offensive magic; magic to keep you alive is fine." I say, tapping Ihra, Abigail, Stephanie and Katie.

"How are we supposed to hit what we can't see!?" Abigail says, punching in a random direction.

"You need to free your mind, and focus on what's around you." I say, tapping everyone except Ruby.

After quite a few rounds, Stephanie manages to dodge out of the way of an attack and counter it.

"Free your mind. Focus on what's around you." She repeats, smiling.

"Why can't...this just...be over..." Katie says, unsuccessfully trying to hit me again.

 

Ihra eventually creates a distortion around her that lets her know your position, then punches you a bit hard.
As in you go flying and one of her claws breaks.

 

"Very good, Ihra." I say, catching myself in the air and landing heavily; darting back over.

"Is your claw alright? It looks broken." I ask, concerned.

 

She opens her eyes.
"Uhm... I think so?"

 

"Alright, if you're fine, we shall continue." I say, darting around and tapping Abigail and Katie again. Stephanie evades the attack.

After a few more rounds, Abigail manages to kick me, causing me to hit the ground.

"Yessssssss." Abigail says triumphantly.

"Good work, Abigail." I say, getting up.

 

Ihra proceeds as well as Ruby, though she's getting a bit bored.

 

After some more rounds, Katie manages to land a lucky hit on me.

"Alright, I think that should wrap up our training for now." I say, appearing next to the blank. The blank falls to the ground, having sustained far too much damage; though I seem completely fine.

Abigail falls to the ground again, sighing.

"It's over," She says, looking toward the sky, "We win."
