Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"No, no! Nothing wrong at all!" I shout.

OOC: Danngggg ok. I'll have to get it first to my fortress though to equip myself with my sword and my hat.
"Ah, a new body. I am deeply indebted to you, Arnold. Although..." I trail off, wallowing in thoughts. "Do you think you could teleport me to my fortress? I need to rearm myself. Simply having a crossbow won't do, after all."

 

"She seems to have lost a lot of her energy; I would presume from her transformation." Artemis says, wrapping a few vines around the girl. They start to give energy to her.

Myria raises her hand slightly, and the energy in the vines becomes stronger, giving her a lot more energy.

"How much do you know about this girl?" Myria asks.

"She came from the sky or something, and starting touching us with all these tendrils..." I say.

"She was a magic aura until recently." Stephanie says.

"You shouldn't lie." Myria says with a disappointed tone; her voice also seems to echo in your mind.

 

"I will, but you might want to come back soon. Xlentia may not want you to leave for long."
Arnold teleports Helianthus to the entrance to his fortress.

 

"Ahhh yes I know" I shout back, this time taking another step back. Lots of steps back. "Nothing wrong at all!" I roar from about a hundred feet away.

"Yes, thank you, but how will I get back?" I ask before getting teleported.

 

"I'm not sure if anyone noticed this but... don't you think she looks fairly similar to Idala except with the different hair and clothes?"
She's correct. They do look surprisingly similar.
The girl stays asleep.

"You have a point... but I have an idea."
He hands a vial of a vibrant green liquid.
"Drink half of it now. When you're ready, drink the second half of it and you will be back here."

 

"Alright." I drink half of it, and once i get to my fortress, begin re-arming myself.

 

OOC: Not sure what to reply with XD. None of my characters are anywhere near your fortress, so yeah.

 

"If it wasn't obvious before, it's clear to everyone you have something wrong with my husband. There's no point hiding it, tell me." Myria says, her tone becoming assertive.

I look at Idala, then to the girl, then back at Idala, then back to the girl again.

"Do you think she's Idala's sister?" I ask.

 

"No, I only had one child. I think when she was examining us, she might have been deciding on a form to base herself off of. In the end, she chose Idala. I'm not sure what she is though."

 

OOC: Yep, I know that. Also, is the potion sort of like a recall potion?

"Ah, no, it's fine...yes, totally fine. I've already gotten a replacement!" I roar from a hundred feet away.
OOC: i don't exactly know what I'm doing with my character here.

 

OOC: Idk what that is XD. Basically, drinking the first half places your 'return' point. Once you drink the second half, you go back to that point. Now I see what you mean by recall, probably yes.

 

OOC: Ah ok. That's an interesting mechanic.

 

"She may be a shape-shifter." Myria says.

Myria clicks her fingers, and the girl is filled with energy.

"You're rather confusing. I'm sure whatever Darnth did, he had valid reason to; considering your capricious attitude." Myria says, shaking her head.

 

"Possibly. But whatever she is, the way she appeared wasn't normal for a shapeshifter."
She's still sleeping. It seems she wants to sleep for a while.

 

"Ah no..." I trail off, eventually mumbling things, which obviously, cannot be heard from a hundred feet away. I take flight, and land back within speaking range of the group, though with clear distance from Myria.

 

"Well, she's got her energy back, at least." Myria says.

Myria picks up the girl in both arms momentarily, forming a thick bed of cotton below her. Myria gently puts her on the cotton; the cotton depressing and bearing her weight.

"I guess we'll have to wait, then." Stephanie says.

"Ain't nobody got time fo that!" I say in a sassy voice, summoning the watch of true time once more.

Myria gives you an odd look.

"Artemis, could you tell me what your father did to your strange friend?" Myria asks, gesturing to you.

"Oh, well he took his soul, I think, and then destroyed his body because he was being weird. I think he was plotting against us." Artemis says.

Myria gives you a withering look; you find yourself losing confidence.

"He also made it rain on Abigail; intentionally." I add.

"Abigail?" Myria asks.

"Fire Guardian." I say.

As if on cue, Abigail and Katie surface from their pools, climbing out.

 

"That's not what I'm ticked off about." I grumble.

 

"You're always ticked off about something, Drake." Abigail says, grinning as she walks over.

"Oh, you must be Abigail. It's nice to meet you, I'm Myria; Artemis' mother." Myria says, offering Abigail a handshake.

Abigail shakes Myria's hand, "It's nice to meet you too. As much as it's strange you're here." Abigail says, mildly confused.

"I'm Katie." Katie says happily, offering a handshake.

Myria shakes Katie's hand, "A water guardian, I see," Myria says, turning to Artemis, "I'm glad you've made friends with more of our kind."

"Thanks, mother." Artemis replies, smiling.

 

"Because of what got me ticked off in the first place."

 

"What's that? If you say Artemis' mother, she will most likely murder you." I ask.

"I apologise if my presence annoys you, but I came to see my daughter." Myria says.
