Projected name for the ice area reminds me of Aurilon.

 

OOC: This is getting pretty interesting. If there is going to be a war, Gargantuan won't have any allies to trade with, since the only kingdom they are actually allied with right now is the Darklands. In the meantime, the Darklands trades with every other kingdom. Hehehe...

"I do have one question now that you say this... If they're looking for refuge, why haven't they built anything yet?"

 

OOC: Oh well, nvm. And at least, every other which is known to exist so far (so basically Gargantuan, Emeraldonia and Brisingr, though that would change if the war happened).
"They can't hide from the others straight away. The others are right behind them every step of the way. Right now, you may have noticed a few orbs fall from the sky and explode on your army. That was one of the other faction. The one terrorising Brisingr is also from the other faction. I have not heard of any from the faction here attacking anyone."

"Very well. I suppose it's difficult to request a pardon at this point..."
He bows to you slightly before turning back and signaling the troops back. He glances back once before following them.

 

I watch them go then also turn back towards where the others are.

 

I turn to you.
"Well... Guess that means they didn't have Ihra." I seem bitter.

 

"Yes, it seems like they were trying to kill you. If they had Ihra, then it seems that they weren't trying to show it very well. They wanted to kill you, not capture you. If they had her, then there wouldn't be much difference between capturing her or leaving her body dead."
I then look up to the sky.
"But Feiha was up there. If anyone captured her, then it would likely by Feiha's faction."

 

"So that rules out that possibility... But if they intended to kill, how'd you get then to turn around?"

 

"Some humans didn't realise that there are actually two factions. So when the authorities of one of the largest godless kingdoms realise that another kingdom is under attack by something they don't understand, this happens. This should stop them for now, but I don't think this is the last we'll see of Gargantuan..."

 

"At least we don't have to deal with them now."
I look at the ground, then you, then the ground again.
"We need to settle down soon. I, at least, am getting exhausted. Ihra's naps are going to cause problems if she keeps taking them, and Vei... I don't know what she does, but she always seems busy."

 

"Well, gods don't really sleep... You can camp out if you want, I guess. We can go after Nyre tomorrow.

 

"Hmm... There are the icy mountains near here. I found the egg near there."

 

"Nor do I, really."

 

"How long are your world's days?" I look skeptical.
Vei forms beside me, a cut beneath her left eye.
"It won't matter, we just need somewhere to be. Again, if you know a location or two, I can get us settled down."

Frost creeps along the ground again.

"Interesting... take care of the youth, consider that it might still have parents. I don't trust myself to look after it, or even attempt doing so."
She hands you a faintly glowing blue crystal.
"So I can find you, or if you need help. If the little fellow eats it, I can keep tabs on them. I'm going to leave, I may be able to settle down with a few acquaintances."

Acknowledged. You get essentially the same reply as Reflet since this is kind of a side comment.

 

"Vandu is probably the closest city, back in the swamps of Gargantuan."

I look at the frost. "Xephyr, I believe?"

 

"Preferably where we won't scare the wits out of civilization."

It takes her a while to see the frost.
"Yes, Ihra told me what happened with her. I believe her, seeing I remember the day they weren't all like this. Also, if you're looking for Ihra, go east."

...East is Brisingr.

 

OCC: ... I figured you'd like, want to not sleep on the grass since you asked for a place to stay.

"I mean, scaring the Gargantuan is always fine with me. Or, we can head towards Solignis." My voice drops to a hiss. "Maybe Nyre killed everyone already. Nobody'll be there to frighten."

 

"That... would be a problem."
"No shit, but maybe Ihra's there."
Vei shoots me a dirty look.
"Fair point." She mutters.
"Vesius, go. I'll stay behind to tell Xephyr."

I turn to you.
"Guess I'm following you to this 'Solignis' place."
