Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

After a while of digging, the ground beneath me crumbles and gives away, causing me to fall into a cavern. "Eureka!" I shout.

 

Ice Katie carefully lifts herself down.

"Whoa, what is this place?" Ice Katie asks, fascinated.

 

It appears to be a relatively large cavern, with a piles of random junk scattered everywhere. "My stash. Every since I turned into a dragon, I can't control the vines that allow me to grab things from here. Don't you dare raid it. Actually, I'll allow you to take something as a souveneir." I say, digging through a pile.

 

You notice a few things floating around within Ice Katie.

"Cool!" Ice Katie says, taking a few more things and trying not to be seen taking such things.

 

"Ah who cares. Most of these are junk. Just take what you want. Don't empty out my stash though." I continue digging through a pile.

 

Ice Katie seems embarrassed having been caught, and starts putting things back.

"So what are you looking for?" Ice Katie asks, looking down on the pile you're looking through.

 

"Leo and my tea set." I say, digging through the pile. I pull out an ice ball. "Here, I'm not even sure why it hasn't melted." I hand it to you.

 

"Interesting," Ice Katie says, holding it up to her glassy-looking eyes, "Shadow Stephanie told me about the tea set; she said she gave you an antique one. That's kind of her."

Ice Katie gently puts her hand into the pile, separating it so it's easier to see and dig through.

 

"Lena and..."
"I already forgot the name the dragon gave me."
Lena accepts the handshake.
"Maybe they can think of a name?"

Reed walks over.
"Two more?"
"Huh? Oh... Are you in the same situation?"
"Yes, though not as extreme. I remembered my name, at least."

The couple looks sheepish.

 

"Hmm, how about Max?" Stephanie suggests.

"Oh come on, that's an ordinary name. Lena and Max? How about something like...Solera?" Abigail says.

"How about we let them decide?" Stephanie says, looking towards the unnamed draconian.

 

I pull out a crystal and a tea set inside a bag. "Ok good. My business here is done. Come on, let's get out." I place the bag on my back.

OOC: I was about to say the name, but then I realized I don't have communication flowers anymore. Drat.

 

Ice Katie picks you up and lifts you outside of the cave, before climbing out herself.

"That was fun." Ice Katie says, smiling at you.

 

"Thanks for the lift." I start to push the dirt back. Miraculously, it doesn't cave in. It just piles on top of the hole. "I'm not sure what causes the dirt to do this, but I figured this was a good safety measure."

 

Ice Katie helps with pushing the dirt back, taking large mounds and carefully spreading it on the surface.

"I guess you're not so bad." Ice Katie says happily.

 

"Thanks." I reply, patting the dirt with my wing. "Well, I think I'll spend some time here first. I need to reorganize myself. There's a large size difference from a flower and a dragon, and I need to orient myself. Feel free to go ahead to the group." I wave at you with my wing, and start walking in circles around the places where the cavern was.

 

Ice Katie heads back over to us.

"Where'd you go?" I ask.

"I was just exploring with...uh...that flower that's now a dragon." Ice Katie replies.

"Oh, Drake? What was he like?" I ask.

"He's not as bad as you described. I think you need to cut him a little more slack; he doesn't have bad morals. He caught me taking some of his stuff and he didn't mind at all." Ice Katie says happily.

I sigh, "I've been trying to. It's just...hard. After all he's done, it's hard to think I can trust him again." I say.

"Treat him how you want him to treat you. If you act nicer to him, he'll be nicer back." Ice Katie says, smiling at me.

"Alright, I'll try a little harder to be nicer to him." I say, smiling back.

 

I land not too far from you. About a few feet. "Ugh, easier said than done."

 

I force a smile, "Haha...funny one." I say in a forcefully happy tone.

Ice Katie seems pleased.

 

"Ren?"
"I... uh... sure, I guess? Lera, right?"
"I just introduced myself as Lena. Whoops."
"Heheh... Thank the stars these people are forgiving."

Virei'tus forms a telepathic link with you.
"First he tries to be helpful, then he blasts you with stuff that heals you and you threaten him?! I hoped for better from your word."

 

"Well, it's nice to meet you, Ren." Abigail says happily.

"So, do you have no memories at all?" Stephanie asks.


"Why don't you make Artemis even sadder and tell her about my past, then?" I respond sarcastically, "Not like she's dealing with Sgavrinn being wounded right now."


Artemis hugs Sgavrinn tighter, increasing the healing even more.

"You're too good of a pet to lose," Artemis says sadly, "You helped me get over my fear of heights.".
