Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Well... I'm... Going to shut up now because I don't know what that sigil means."
I look at the ground awkwardly.
"Sneaky thing." I mutter.

 

I move the baby dragon to a different place, then use a powerful burst of magic to find anything living. To be aware of the entire place. To see anything invisible.

 

"I should have kept on eye on her..."
I fly up into the air to find Ihra.

 

She really is gone. However, more corridors are starting to collapse.
The hatchling cries out when a rock hits the ground behind you.

The higher you fly, the more humans you see.
They're moving towards something. It's hard to tell what their target is until you realize that they're moving towards the locations of the draconians, the sigil.

It's an entire army.

Above you, you notice Feiha looking down on everything, a huge gash across her chest. She looks emotionless.

 

Cursing, I completely destroy and re-create the entire place, in a matter of seconds. Creating a protective bubble around the hatchling, I use the power to give myself inhuman strength, enough to move tons upon tons, and jump towards the place where I believe the draconian to be right now.

 

I look up to where Eras flew, and see two figures.
One I can clearly recognise as Eras.
The other, I can't seem to see it clearly enough.
I prepare to draw my sword just in case.

 

Upon arrival, you see the one from earlier. You scare her out of her wits, though.
"Eep!" It takes her a moment to recognize you on the other side of the ice wall put up between you.
"I... I'm sorry, I didn't know..."

"Hey, you wanted to meet the others? The fact that she's not attacking us means there's something else either equally or more interesting, which means something big. Pull that thing out and get ready to use it... for other reasons than blowing up explosive red orbs. In your face." I mutter.

 

I say to Feiha, "Is that your army? If so, then it is pretty decent. If not, then too bad."
I fire a beam of dark energy into the front of the army.

 

"It's not. Don't steal all of my fun."
The beam stops their advance. Feiha's spheres drop onto clusters of troops, leaving her laughing as they disintegrate.

 

I fire a bolt of darkness.
I say to Feiha, "You want to destroy them too?"

 

"See these wounds? They have to be cleansed somehow."
More explosions, the more the gash closes.

 

"Did I give those to you? Or one of the others?"

 

"Does my source of pain matter to you? Or only my death? Why not kill me now? We all have questions, few of us have answers."

 

I draw my sword.
"Getting my head roasted off isn't nearly as bad as you think. At least, for me it isn't.

 

A dark beam and familiar red orbs fall from the sky in front of you and the group.
"That explains that... Now Xephyr's gone too."
Arrows stick in the ground, and slowly fly closer to your group.
"Oh, great. This'll go well..." I roll my eyes.

 

"I'm more worried about where those are coming from."

 

"Possibly the army on the other side of the beam." I mutter.

 

"...Do any of them have axes?"
I decide not to ask how he knows that.

 

"I dunno, there's thousands of them. Probably there is."

 

"Can you handle them? I think I'm better at taking on the ones with less blunt attacks."
