“Don’t tell me you’re old enough.” Kiin pouts, giving Abigail a sour look.

“Is the summary that long?”

 

You have your crossbow, your backpack, whatever’s in your backpack, and fine-grained sand between your toes.

 

"It's easily over 50,000 sentences. It would take me a considerable amount of time to calculate exactly how long it would take to say out loud to you right now. Treat me like a search engine; narrow down what you're asking for."

 

"Having that much power tends to bring attention to you, and when you have attention brought to you, you have negative attention brought to you too," Abigail says, "Though I'd probably be more fit to handle a war force than a child."

 

"If I spend most of my money on a bomb, then will I be as fit to handle a war force as you are?" Kiin asks mockingly.

"Uh..." Scurn mumbles.
"Allies. General sentiment towards the Hive Master. Density of battle lines." Levi groans.

Abigail narrows her eyes at Kiin, seeming annoyed. The area around Abigail seems to get rather hot, though cools down once Katie puts a hand on Abigail's shoulder; seeming to calm her down with a look.

 

“I’m sorry. I just... I’m jealous that you get to spend more time with sis than I do.” Kiin admits.

 

"We've known each other for longer." Abigail shrugs.

"I'll try to come home more often if you want, Kiin!" Katie says sympathetically.

 

"I have incomplete information on general allies, but I can name some specifics.
I think the Hive Master's pretty bad, due to the fact that his whole thing seems to be inspired by a past that he can't get over. Not to say that I'd be on his side were he doing what he's doing for the right reasons, I just wouldn't think that he was bad, I'd think that his actions were.
As for the density of battle lines..."
Would I know anything about that?

"I was hoping for a few names, seeing if I recognize any of them."

Kiin's face turns from loneliness to guilt.
"U-um... I would like that, but... maybe not... right... now?"

 

Katie gives Kiin a confused look.

"What's wrong?" Katie asks.

 

"N-nothing, my room's just a mess right now. I usually clean up when I know you or mum are coming home, and I kinda... made a mess when you didn't." Kiin admits.

 

"A mess? What sort of mess?" Katie asks, confused.

 

"I-I'm not done cleaning, I promise I can finish soon! M-maybe by... uh... tomorrow? Or the next day?" She protests, seeming a bit panicked.

 

"Ok, I'll let you clean up before I come home." Katie says happily.

 

Kiin lets out a sigh of relief, hugging Katie.
"J-just promise me you'll be back in two days, okay? O-or... uh... maybe you can help me clean? Mum's gonna be really mad if she comes home tomorrow... I promise I'll work really reeeally hard if you help me!" She begs.

 

"I don't think mum's going to be home for a while..." Katie says, sounding a little down.

 

"Oh... in that case, maybe I won't get in that much trouble." Kiin sighs, seeming a bit less flustered.
