Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

Ihra points at her trail of death.
“You don’t seem to be in your death guardian form...”

With his focus on the bug, he notices the sky start to shift hue.

“A dress that fancy and a suit that sharp? There’s no other true werewolves around, it’s not a tough deduction.” He says in a hushed voice.

 

"Oh." Artemis says, her hair suddenly changing to a darker colour.

The entire island suddenly withers away, Ihra feeling weak and drained.

 

"I'm.. gonna go now.."

I'll walk backwards a few steps and then walk away.

 

"O- Linoa!"
Crystal looks towards her.

 

Ihra manages to hide the drain, seeming shocked.
"W-wait... that's not what I meant..."

Linoa seems to be sitting on a rock, petting Puddles' cat-thing.
"Did you finally notice you've been walking in circles around the same tree for an hour?"

The guard smirks, waving.

How come people can figure stuff out without us telling?

 

Artemis changes back, though the area doesn't change. Artemis takes a few steps forward, before standing still for a moment. A moment later, she collapses.

 

Ihra picks her up, checking her vitals before continuing inside.

 

"The sky changed color!"
He points upwards, not paying much attention to anything else.

 

Artemis seems to be fine, just unconscious. She feels heavy in Ihra's arms, though the withering seems to have stopped.

Once Ihra gets to the dense forest, the wildlife seems to move out of her way. Getting through to the giant center tree is much easier than usual.

 

"I don't know. They are really smart or something. Or people can't keep their mouths shut."

 

Linoa sighs.
"Did you even hear what I said?"

Either way... I hope nobody just comes uninvited. I mean, you said that you'd say the vows with me out. I might not be able to let them just watch uninvited.

Ihra continues on, seeming to have little problems holding Artemis.

 

Once Ihra gets back to the tree, there doesn't appear to be any obvious entrances to Praecantatia's home. Other than the golems heading in for repairs, there's no easily accessible person-sized entry.

 

"I hope people aren't that stupid. They should know that weddings are special events and shouldn't be disturbed like that."

 

Ihra tries linking with Praecantatia.
"Sorry to interrupt, but could you help me get Artemis inside? She passed out and I'm not sure what's going on with her."

Well I hope so too. It'd be a shame to get blood on our nice suit.

 

"What?"
Crystal stops and looks towards Linoa.

 

"Yeah, that is if the wedding does happen. We payed good money for it."

 

"Certainly." Praecantatia responds. A door opens in the side of the tree trunk, just big enough for Ihra. It seems to lead through the front door.

 

Ihra tries to get Artemis through without bumping her againsy a wall.

Well... she paid good money for it. She never did say how wealthy she is.

“You’ve been walking in circles for an hour.”

 

It's a little awkward to do, but Ihra manages to get Artemis through to the living room. Shadow Stephanie seems to be gone, and the demonic girl seems to be asleep on the sofa.

 

“Did Artemis have a room here, or should I bring her somewhere specific?” She asks, hoping the link to Praecantatia was still up.
