The replica mirrors its movements.

It freezes up again.

 

"No, I'm meeting someone later today."

 

Artemis sighs, kicking a pebble off the side of the island.

 

Ihra glances off into the distance.
"You know... I wonder why they gave us a second life of sorts. It's not like we get a redo against the Hive Master."

"Ah. Be careful, then. A lot of people think that night's a better time to get away with things."

 

"Maybe..." Artemis says, joining Ihra in her stare.

 

The replica slowly sinks back into Crystal.

 

"Just gives me more ways of finding out what happened in the church."

 

"From who, then?"

"We appreciate the help, but it's not your case to solve. Just be wary."

It takes a minute after the replica sinks back for the bug to move again.

 

"What if we just...left and came back later after we'd recovered?" Artemis suggests.

 

“Then what did the cryothings do?”

 

"I don't know." Artemis admits.

 

“I think they did give us a second chance, but... I dunno who to ask. Praecantatia seems intent on threatening me whenever I talk about... earlier, and Gaia’s hiding. Who’s left? Tenebrae maybe, but she’d drill me about summoning her first.”

 

"Why don't we ask Lux?" Artemis suggests.

 

Crystal shifts around to start making the terrain a bit rougher.

 

"Ofcourse. But help can always be appreciated, right?"

 

"That's a good idea, actually. I don't know if I still have a way into the Realm of Light, though."

"If you insist on keeping an eye out for what happened, go ahead. It shouldn't concern you much, though."

It seems that every time Crystal shifts, the bug freezes up.

 

"We could ask Praecantatia." Artemis shrugs.

 

"It doesn't really. But anything I find can help you."
