Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

“I thought this was her castle?”
Crystal spits the rubble out of his back.

 

The beast, infuriated, leaps at Ihra; attempting to crush her with it's body.

 

"What are you gonna do with him?"

"Hammer of his hand or something?"

 

“He’s right handed, so yes he’ll be missing that. I’m considering taking off an ear or a bit of hair, but this is only his first time.”

Ihra tries using the gust of wind to move outside of the beast’s path, trying to get a quick look at its underbelly if possible.

“We usually use the term temple, but I guess it could be argued that Gaia’s temple is a castle. I still wouldn’t be taking bits of rubble outside its walls, if I were you.”

 

It's underbelly is completely covered, though Ihra barely dodges getting hit by it. The beast seems weighed down by it's armour, exposing it's back again.

 

Ihra leaps up again, trying to drop a rock on the button.

 

The button is depressed easily, and a huge blast of steam erupts from the beast. It's armour is lost, falling off of it in chunks. Enraged, the now naked beast (luckily still covered in fur) roars and begins pounding the ground; shaking it.

 

Ihra tries to stay airborne via gusts of wind, glancing upwards a couple times to check if anything might fall on her.
If she has time, she casts a bolt of electricity between falls, though focuses on keeping her distance.

 

The beast gets a little hurt by it, letting out an earth-shaking roar. Ihra feels heavier, and can no longer keep herself up in the air.

 

Ihra tries to use the increased downward momentum to drive a chunk of ice into its body, hoping to hit it in the neck or a shoulder.

 

The beast screams as the ice penetrates it's shoulder, the beast pulling it out and throwing it back.

 

Ihra tries to raise a piece of earth to block it, albeit already trying to move off to the side slightly to minimize the impact if the earth fails to do anything.

 

The earth raises too slow to block it, and Ihra gets hit with a smaller shard from the ice.

 

While she has the earth up anyways, she tries to throw it at the beast's face to distract it as she attempts to use another gust of wind to get far enough off the ground to get onto the beast's back.

 

“Okey.”
Crystal just keeps moving around the rubble normally.

 

"Could you make him bald?"

 

“I could, yes, though leaving him just looking like a mess is a bit more embarrassing.”

“We may be in the middle of war, but fanatics are everywhere and always find time to exaggerate whatever they feel like.”

 

"Tear some clothes apart, maybe?"

"But.. that's not what I got here for."

 

“Yeah, sorry about the timing. His dismemberment can wait, what do you need?”

 

"It started of with me looking for some charms. We went to the church, but there was no one there expect for some centaurs who seemed in a hurry. We wanted to ask the Leviathan, but we figured he might be busy. So Anne mentioned that some snake people in the swamp might know something about it, so I thought it would be smart to check in with you first."

"It's a long story, sorry."
