Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

Dropping a rock on the back of it's head does nothing but notify the beast that Ihra's behind it, causing it to spin around. However, Ihra does see a large button on the center of its back before it turns back to face her.

 

Ihra prepares another gust of wind, waiting for the beast to make another move.

 

"Let's get going. I'll tell you when I smell the bakery."

 

The beast tries to block Ihra with it's blade before smashing her with it's hammer, attempting to predict her path.

 

Ihra fakes left, only letting off the gust of wind once the hammer starts coming down. This time, she tries to prepare another gust of wind while she’s still airborne.

Anne nods.

It only takes a minute before you smell fresh bread.

 

"Found it."
And I'll follow the scent as I say that.

 

The beast seems to catch on this. With its sword not jammed into the ground this time, the beast makes a swing for Ihra.

 

“Who-avul?”

 

She tries to dive straight down, trying to bait out a downward strike.

"Atavul, high god of fire. He's also... by far the strongest god."

After a short walk, you find yourself at the bakery, with the seamstress sign off to the side in the alley.

 

“That’s... not good.”
Crystal works his way around the rubble, taking any chunks that are small enough for him to envelop with his body.

 

The beast attempts to crush Ihra with it's hammer, it's arms oddly seeming to move across it's body to switch places.

 

"Okay. So now that we're here..."

I look around.
"We need to go through one of those alley ways, correct?"

 

Ihra uses the gust to dodge the hammer again, staying a bit closer to the ground this time.

The seamstress' sign is attached to the bakery wall, pointing you down the alley right next to the bakery.
"I'm guessing that one."

"Don't do that." Linoa says as she goes towards the remains of the portal room. "Never desecrate a god's temple."

 

I'll follow the sign.

 

The seamstress’ door is open, and a statue holding a dagger is visible towering over the desk.

 

The beast seems to get it's hammer stuck in the ground for a second, a little overconfident.

 

Ihra prepares another gust, trying to bait out a downward sword strike.

 

The beast instead smashes the colosseum wall near to Ihra, chunks of rock exploding from it and flying her way.

 

"Oh. Someone was down on their luck, it seems."

 

She launches skywards again, always preparing a gust of wind.

"And now they're going to be missing a few pieces." The gorgon says, hammer and chisel in hand.
