Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

A green liquid slowly starts to drip out of the mouth of the idol, lazily filling the cup.

 

Ihra waits until the cup is full before letting go, albeit more unsure than she was the first time she used the idol.

 

The idol lets go of the cup, letting Ihra take it.

 

Ihra drinks the liquid, trying to quickly put the cup back before the liquid starts affecting her.

 

It takes a second to trigger, though Ihra soon grows much larger than she was before; but relatively normal compared to the home she's in.

 

I pat Buddy on the back lightly as I take a good look around the kitchen.

 

Ihra walks around, trying to listen for any sign of Praecantatia or Stephanie and going in their direction if she does.

You have a fairly large kitchen, an island the size of a six-person table taking up most of the walking space through it. The dining room is adjacent, Buddy's food and water bowls next to the pantry that sits between the kitchen and dining room.

 

Ihra finds a young looking girl with black hair sitting in the living room. Her hair seems to curl up into a pair of what seems like horns, and she seems to be reading some kind of comic book, seemingly backwards. She seems to be wearing a simple short-sleeved green shirt with a pair of jeans and black boots, and doesn't appear to have noticed Ihra walk in.

 

Ihra keeps some distance, glancing at her occasionally but still searching for Praecantatia.
"Hello." She says in the girl's direction.

 

The girl perks up, surprised, before blushing a bit out of embarrassment.

"H-Hi." The girl says sheepishly.

 

I decide to check out the dining room as well.

 

"Do you know where Lady Praecantatia is?" Ihra asks, keeping some distance.

There's a fancy crystalline chandelier hanging over a huge table, complete with 20 chairs.
...a bit overkill for single living, but you did give the okay for a mansion.

 

"U-Uhm, p-probably with the S-Shadow girl." The girl says, clearly not expecting or prepared for social interaction.

 

“Do you know which direction that would be?”

 

The girl points toward a door on the opposite side of the room, looking somewhat scared of Ihra.

 

“Thanks.” Ihra says, heading towards (and through, if possible) the door as she continues to give the girl some space.

 

The girl goes back to reading her comic book, sighing in relief.

Through the door seems to be a corridor, stairs leading up nearby while multiple doors line the walls. The house seems capable of shifting it's walls to different states, it seems.

 

Ihra tries linking with Praecantatia again.

 

Ihra feels the connection work quite easily, though Praecantatia just steps out of one of the doors, looking around momentarily before smiling when she sees Ihra.

 

“Well, that answers where I’m supposed to go.” She sighs, smiling nervously. “Sorry I didn’t ask you to come on my own, some of my old powers are working a bit strangely since I’ve been creating new ones.”
