Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

“Why don’t we try and find him, then nip Lux before he gets so out of hand we need multiple gods to take him down? I’m here, I can help.”

 

I keep my pace, letting him walk behind.

“Yeah. Uh, anyways, that’s it. Just checking in.”

 

"Well, I still have a lot of training left to do. You could go and tell Aj you're ready to fight him though, and come back here later." Artemis suggests.

 

After about ten minutes of walking (and seeing nobody else), you get back up to the gates of your mansion.


"Don't keep too many slaves now, you've got golems." She teases.

"Wait a minute... Praecantatia should know about this. I'll see if she can help me find him." Ihra says. "I will say, I've improved a lot since we last met. Hopefully it's enough..."

 

Artemis nods.

"I'm sure she knows." Artemis says.

 

"Plus I haven't seen Stephanie in..."
Pause.
"Uh, good luck with your training. I'm just gonna..."

Ihra tries to link with Gaia again.
"Lady Gaia, I think I'm ready to leave. Thanks for letting me see Artemis again, though, it's nice to see she's still doing well."

 

"Thanks." Artemis says appreciatively, heading over to a group of forest guardians.

"It's nice to see you two getting along." Gaia responds. However, Gaia's voice isn't in Ihra's mind. It sounds as if Gaia's standing right behind her.

 

Ihra jumps a bit, turning around.

 

Gaia smiles behind Ihra, in her smaller form. A large patch of flowers seems to have grown at her feet while she was waiting.

 

Ihra sighs, smiling.
“I forget you interact with people more than the others here.”

 

"I am the goddess of all life. It would be odd of me not to take care of my children." Gaia says happily.

 

“Well, I guess you definitely got my message, then. Though, I do have another question... I need to stop asking things of you, but could you help me get in touch with Praecantatia? I remembered that Stephanie has been away for quite a while, I was hoping to see how she’s doing.”

 

"Maybe we could hire a place? Oh no wait.. we're doing it on the outlands."

"Yeah.. a tent would be nice then."

 

"I'll see what I can do." Gaia says, smiling.

 

“I could have people start building the venue tonight, I guess.”

“I appreciate it, thank you.” Ihra says, almost instinctivey starting to offer Gaia a hug before catching herself and awkwardly smiling.

 

Gaia lowers herself a bit to be closer to Ihra's height, before giving Ihra a big hug.

 

Ihra hugs her, seeming content albeit embarassed.

 

The hug lasts a short while, before Gaia steps back and changes back to her normal size; walking away and putting a hand to her head. Flower patches form in footprints, immediately drawing insects.

 

Ihra watches the bugs, amused.

 

"You can? Sure, that would help a ton."
