"Anyhow... it seems to be done." Rema says, filling a vial with the concoction and grabbing a vial half filled with teal fluid.
"Don't breathe this in too deep."

 

"Yeah, but they're always doing their own thing. Boys are so simple minded, all they want to do is talk about guns and death." Tiffany says, sounding annoyed.

 

"Okay. Then what do I do?"

 

Rineth glances up at the sky.
“You said your name was Tiffany, right? You’re naming off gods.”

“Don’t inhale while you drink it.” She says, handing you the vial.

 

"Oh, yeah I can do that."

I'll take a vial and take a big swig.

 

"Gods? What are those?" Tiffany asks.

 

"...Never mind. I assume you've no idea how to get out of here."

It tastes bitter at first and sour next, then your vision starts to blur with a light blue fog.
"Okay. Give it a moment, hopefully they come."

The hell am I looking at?

 

"It's probably the way you came in!" Tiffany says cheerily, giggling to herself.

 

"I didn't come here willingly."

 

"Oh. Who made you come here?" Tiffany asks.

 

“Jungle. I like it.”
I point out to start conversation, walking further in.

 

"I don't know. I was taken into a hospital, drugged. They're either operating on me still or butchering me. Wherever I am, it won't matter either way."

"Homey. What I left behind, with a minor addition of the smoking corpses of my oppressors."

The path you seem to be following is dark and damp, leading to a dimly lit torch on the side of a mud brick hut.

 

“Say, I’ve something to ask you.”
I turn to him.
“I was told you did something or other with the interface of my code. That, and you didn’t tell anyone how.”

 

"That's strange," Tiffany says innocently, "Why did you need to go to a hospital?"

 

"You weren't lied to. I assume you're going to kill the next few minutes probing me for details?"

"My left leg was stripped to the bone, my jaw was shattered and half of my face was torn off, and one of my eyes were gouged. Do I need to go on, or are wings hanging by a thread of flesh enough to answer your question?"

 

"Ewwwwwww!" Tiffany says, looking a little sick as she covers her eyes.

 

"Ironic..." Rineth thinks, glancing away.
"Regardless, you share a name with Tenebrae. You call your friends what Tenebrae calls her friends."

 

"That's weird. Is she copying me? I don't like it when people copy me." Tiffany says, sounding angry.

 

"No, just a coincidence I suppose..."
Rineth checks to see if he has any of his normal abilities, using the ground as a target.
