"Shield? Thanks for making this easy."
The crystals disintegrate, completing the sphere.

Though still chained, Stephanie should soon be coming to her senses.
"Let's... Not play with that poison."

 

Stephanie keeps giggling, falling over when she tries to move toward Katie.

I look at Shadow Katana, then Stephanie's chains, then back at Shadow Katana.

"Poison addiction is a serious issue, just as much blood." Artemis says calmly.

 

"Aj, I can release her when she clears up. Cutting those will hurt me."

Virei'tus seems wary of your weapon.
Ragnyon falls over again.

 

"Releaaaaase me I'm sobeeeeeer!" Stephanie says, clearly still affected.

Katie helps Ragnyon back up.

"We should do this more often!" Abigail says, flipping over Stephanie and skating past.

 

"No we shouldn't."

"What does sober mean?"

"Thanks Katie. Sorry...
Artemis, can I sit on Sgavrinn so I don't keep falling everywhere?"
Sgavrinn walks towards Ragnyon, waiting for a response.

"Crap. Thanks for the heads-up. We'll prepare, plot, and wait..."

 

"Maaaaaiiiiiid~! Release me at once!" Stephanie says to Katie. Katie seems rather scared.

"Sober is usually used with alcohol, meaning someone is no longer affected by it." I explain.

"Sure, Sgavrinn's a good helper." Artemis says happily.

 

"Thanks."
Sgavrinn lifts Ragnyon onto his back.

"Weird. So... She's far from sober."
"Yes. Pretty much."

 

"I am sobeeeeeer, get my maaaaaiiiiiid to cheeeeck!" Stephanie says, pointing at Katie.

"Please don't make me go near her, she's scaring me." Katie says nervously.

I look at Shadow Katana again.

 

"You're not." Ihra says flatly.

Ihra looks nervously at you.

 

"Katie, you should come here, I have a present for you!" Stephanie says.

Katie nervously approaches Stephanie, against her better judgement.

"Yeah...might want to increase the rate of purging on thise runes." I say to Ihra.

 

"Only one way to do that."
"No, Ihra, you really shouldn't-"
Every bit of the toxin is removed from Stephanie.
...and put into Ihra, who falls over on her face.
"Wellllll shit."

 

The toxin gets removed just as Stephanie grabs Katie and kisses her.

Katie immediately pulls away, as does Stephanie.

"What the hell, Stephanie!?" Katie exclaims.

"I...I don't know...what?" Stephanie says, confused and embarrassed.

"7, 6, 5..." I count.

"Eeuugh, I think I can taste some of that potion." Katie says.

Stephanie's face is red with embarrassment.

"2, 1..."

 

"Exina Vemar." Virei'tus mutters.
Ihra stands up, perfectly normal.
"So, turns out you haven't learned to listen."
"Shut up, you."

 

"Woo! Let's get drunk!" Abigail shouts as she skateboards up to me.

"Unless you want to start kissing people randomly, I'd advise against it." I say.

"Oh come on, You tried it, Stephanie tried it, Ihra tried it, why can't I try it?" Abigail says, "Besides, I can drink hot sauce; I'm sure I can handle the potion way better."

I begrudgingly summon a black phial.

 

"No." Ihra smacks Abigail upside the head with her staff, then jumps back as she realizes her mistake.

 

Abigail rubs her head, annoyed, "Do you realise what you've just done!?" Abigail says, fireballs appearing in her hands.

 

"Hit you? Made you angry?" Ihra whimpers.

 

"Given me a valid reason to ignore what you said!" Abigail says, snatching the phial from my hands and chugging it.

I put my head in my hands as Abigail, inevitably, falls over.

"I think we'll need to hold an PAA Meeting soon..." Artemis says, disappointed.
