"That's weird. Why do you have individual gods for the core elements?" The fire guardian asks.

 

“Why is beyond me, and we also may have different definitions of core elements. Ours is light, dark, fire, water, earth, and air.”

 

"You don't have life and death?" The water guardian asks.

 

“Life and death aren’t elements, they’re aspects aligned with the goddesses of earth and air respectively. Even then, the goddess of air is more the goddess of souls, not just death.”

 

The guardians look confused.

 

Fenira shakes her head.
“Never mind that, my point is that it’s very different.”

 

"And what do I do with the hammer and chisel?"

 

“You use the hammer to hit the handle of the chisel into a piece of softened metal, to etch designs into it.”

 

"Well, good luck with your endeavors!" The fire guardian says positively.

 

"Okay. Is there a specific way to do it?"

 

“Thanks, though... if you don’t mind me asking, do you know where Lady Gaia is?”

“I mean, you want to tap the chisel instead of hitting it because you might split the metal in two.”

 

"I think she was in her oceanic garden last I saw her." The water guardian says.

 

Fenira nods.
“And one more question... do you mind if I look into one of your eyes?”

 

“Okay, but, why me?”

 

"I suppose not?" The fire guardian says, a little confused. They look to the water guardian, who shrugs.

 

Fenira makes eye contact with the fire guardian, curious if she was stripped of her petrification abilities.

“The Hive Master thinks you’re magic based. We’re changing that. He’s giving anyone he thinks relies on magic a free shot at breaking the barrier. The glacial barrier is purely immune to magic, and he thinks you’re still magic based. We have you fire something that isn’t magic based, and suddenly we’re able to lay siege on his domain.”

 

The fire guardian becomes petrified immediately, her powers seeming stronger than before.

"H-Holy shit!" The water guardian curses, looking near to Fenira in shock, but avoiding eye contact.

 

"Okay. Any form or shape I should make it?"

 

Fenira taps on the fire guardian, unpetrifying them.
“My apologies, I did not know if Gaia stripped me of my powers. She didn’t.”
