"If you wouldn't mind doing me a favor, jussst asssk and make sssure nothing ssseemsss off. I may not like the way ssshe behavesss, but ssshe isss a bit young for the thingsss ssshe getsss herssself into."

 

"I'm sure Abigail would tell me if something was wrong, but I'll do it!" Katie says, nodding.

 

"Oh, not the storm perse. It's just... I killed a lot of people without my knowing, I wouldn't be surprised if my time comes because of a contract."

 

"Thank you, Katie... alssso, if I may sssuggessst a cloak, there'sss a world in Xlentia'sss domain that ssshould be able to help you sssneak around."

"Oh... yeah, that's a fair point. I think you'll be fairly safe, though... nobody likes messing with kitsune or dragons, and it seems like that's the only things you hang out with."

 

"Huh?" Katie asks, confused.

 

"Partly great. But yeah, it freaks people out."

 

“You sssaid you wanted to sssneak around like your friendsss... there are ssseveral ssshopsss in Xlentia’sss domain.”

“You’ve picked good friends to have, regardless. Though... you may still want to know people that are literally your own size.”

 

"There's Ragnyon. I haven't seen her for a while though."

"And Argo. But I met her only for a bit, but she seems nice."

 

"Oh, where?" Katie asks.

 

“Any planet ssshould do, except Maralune. Particularly thossse desssert houndsss... Anubi, I think they call themssselvesss.”

“Hold up, Ragnyon as in the prophet draconian? You’ve been more places than you’re telling me about.”

 

"Oh yeah, I remember going there!" Katie says happily.

 

"Be careful of the ssstormsss they have there... an ancient war turned sssandssstormsss into flurriesss of razor glassss."

 

"Will do!" Katie says, skipping off happily.

 

Mavis watches Katie go off as he slithers back onto the palace roof.

 

Katie heads back into the palace, looking for a way to Maralune.

 

"Oh yeah. She's a prophet, isn't she?"

 

The portal room is currently set on Xlentia's domain, the usual ruinous purple mist hanging within Maralune's portal.

"Yes, and she doesn't live on our homeworld. Did you find the portal to another realm, or did you meet her during one of her visits?"

 

"I met her during one of her visits. She told me she was going to bring Sgavrinn to his new owner. Haven't seen her after that."
