Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

Fybus chuckles, patting you (a bit hard) on the shoulder.
"Already making a pretty decent husband."

 

"Thanks. It's good that I have family that supports me."
He smiles.

 

“Hey, love is love.”

 

"You're making me question if it's true love now though."

 

Eve goes back to the Shadow Realm to look for her there.

 

No sign, no trace aside from a flower sitting near the portal.

“Well, checking never hurts. You are dealing with kitsune, after all.”

 

Eve tries to locate Ihra through using the flower.

 

The flower is a totally dead trace, a somewhat taunting message left in pollen on the stem:
“I’m learning”

 

Eve scans the flower for any traces of DNA.

 

There’s some, but it’s obviously fabricated... poorly, at that.

 

Eve keeps looking around for any other traces of Ihra.

 

There are none as far as she can tell.

 

Eve simply heads back to the robotics lab, returning to her room.

 

"I've gotten pretty used to it."

 

"I guess you probably deal with them a lot, if you lived near their village."

After a few minutes, Ihra runs back through the portal to the Void Palace.

 

A few guards keep an eye on her as she goes, but nobody disturbs her.

 

"First one I've ever encountered."
He laughs.

"Isn't that funny."

 

"Yeah... I'd definitely ask Rema about signs of a love spell. Just seems too... coincidental."

She doesn't look back at the guards, seeming too put off for her typically happy demeanor.

 

"I'll get working on it."

 

A black cat jumps through the portal behind Ihra, having been observing her.
