Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

Eve scans around for few moments, trying to locate Idhaenna.

 

She's either well cloaked or not there.

"Who's Anne? You need to, like, fill me in about your life."

 

Eve just leaves through the portal, heading back to the void palace library.

 

She notices EBB also in the library, idly hovering over a book.

 

Eve tries to make herself unnoticed as she observes EBB.

 

That fails, seeing as the moment she looks its way it makes direct eye contact.

 

Eve pretends to be looking past EBB at something else, looking at a bookshelf nearby.

 

"Anne is my fiance and soon to be wife."

 

EBB projects a holographic message at the bookshelf.
"You're not fooling anybody."

"Oh? Did you go with a human, or did you find another werewolf?"

 

"Does a fox count?"

 

Eve just looks away, ignoring the message.

 

EBB keeps looking at her.

"You... you're marrying a fox? Like, four legged thing we usually eat fox?"

 

Eve just tries to act nonchalant; though doesn't seem to be able to do it in a very human manner.

 

EBB flies towards Eve, silent.

 

Eve notices, though doesn't react.

 

EBB just hovers a short distance from her, warping its book to where it is to resume reading.

 

Eve stays alert, ready to act should EBB move while keeping her body language normal.

 

EBB shifts slightly, checking the title of the book it grabbed.

 

"Yeah? Well, she's technically a Kitsune, but she can't change into a human."

 

Eve immediately flips the nearest table and takes cover behind it.
