“You’d probably get along well with Stella.” They comment.

“Three hours.”

 

"I don't really want to meet her for...personal reasons." Eve admits.

 

"Okay. Do you have a favorite place you want to go when you're in break?"

 

"I'm telling you, you're missing out, but if you insist on avoiding direct contact with her, I wont stop you."

"Usually I just go home and nap to see what's going on in the real world." She shrugs.

 

"Thank you." Eve says appreciatively.

 

"We've all got our own quirks." They shrug. "Nothing wrong with 'em, just makes us different."

 

"If everyone would be same, existence would be monotonous." Eve says cheerily.

 

They smile.
"So, you just visiting to get out of your home or are you looking for something in particular? Nobody really just... visits... here. Not with that level of access, anyways."

 

"I see. So what do you look like in the real world then? You took over someone else's body, so you must not look the same."

 

"I'm just a spirit. There's nothing for me to go to in order to wake up, so I set an alarm to wake me up so I can make it back here."

 

"I was sent to speak with the goddess Xlentia, though I'm hardly needed right now so I thought I'd do some exploring here. I want to see how your technology works." Eve says happily.

 

"Well... I don't know if we'll be able to explain everything to you, but we should be able to at least shed some light. I take it you're interested in either comms or nanotech?"

 

"Nanotech mainly. It's what allows me to heal more effectively than a human." Eve says happily, before realising she probably shouldn't be spilling secrets of her design to a stranger.

 

"Humans are a low bar." They snicker. "Anyhow, south tower... Basement 32 I think? That's where those guys are."

 

"Thank you!" Eve says cheerily.

Eve heads back to the elevator, before stopping by the faerie.

"Sorry for irritating you." Eve apologises sincerely.

 

The fae turns and rolls her eyes upon seeing Eve again.
"Go snoop on someone who doesn't mind being watched."

 

"Oh, you just fly around a bit then?"

 

"Yep. It's interesting to see how things change sometimes."

 

Eve just walks back to the elevator, feeling guilty.

"I don't see a lot of change. But I see it everyday, so I don't know."
