Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Sorry, buddy, c'mon."
He gestures to go outside of the house.
"I can take you to a park so you can run around more, if that's what you want."

 

"Generally we wake each other up if they don't. Earthquakes need to be balanced." The earth guardian says.

 

"Oh... I didn't damage this planet much, did I?"

His tail just starts wagging again as he sticks by your side.

 

The earth guardian shakes her head, hair bangs swaying.

 

"That's a good boy."
Voidfiller scratches Ted, then walks outside onto the porch, guiding Ted.

 

"Oh, good... did he tell you what I am or no? I don't want to scare you or anything, you've both been too kind to me..."

Ted follows you, trailing a couple feet behind you.

 

"A living weapon of some kind?" The earth guardian says.

 

Voidfiller turns and closes the nearly-broken doors before setting off onto the sidewalk to take a walk with Ted.
It's a nice, partly-cloudy day at about noontime. The surrounding area seems to be a nice, peaceful street, with the neighboring houses of decent structure.

 

Fable nods.
"I'm just glad I didn't mess with the planet's orbit... I can technically play golf by punching dead stars into black holes. That's why I want a wielder - it'd give me an off switch, so I can explore without worrying about... well, everything around me."

Ted follows you intently, though he stops at the second flower patch to pee/completely destroy the flowers.

 

Voidfiller stops for Ted and chuckles when the flowers are destroyed.
A kid on a bike rolls down the street, looking in awe at Ted.

 

A pile of ash and cooling magma is all that remains of the flowers.
Ted watches the kid go by, tail wagging as he starts down the sidewalk again.

 

"That seems like power to rival the gods." The earth guardian comments.

 

The kid continues to watch, his eyes quickly darting back onto the road and speeding up.
Voidfiller politely smiles and waves at the kid, who doesn't see it, before continuing to walk.

 

"That's... sort of my point. My siblings and I are meant to kill gods, but I never understood their eagerness to do so. We were built to stop any god if they went crazy, if they did more harm than they do help. Why shatter what's pristine? I just don't get it..."

Ted barks once before continuing on, taking in the scents of the neighborhood.

 

"Who forged you?" The earth guardian inquires.

 

The kid speeds up even more.
The neighborhood smells quite pleasant, an aroma of flowers being washed over by the smell of someone baking some kind of pie in an upcoming house.

 

"But... then you're dead. If you spend to long here, your body will starve and die."

 

"Who? I... don't know if I should say. Everyone else who's told mortals was called blasphemous." Fable says, suddenly getting extremely nervous.

"I am dead. My body's buried."

Ted seems uninterested in both, continuing down the sidewalk.

 

The earth guardian just looks confused.

 

After about five minutes of walking, with some turns down a few streets, the two eventually come across a more busy street, cars coming down both ways.
Voidfiller stops at a light, the passing cars making it impossible to walk across the street.
"Wait here."
He politely commands.
