Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

Fable giggles, looking ahead.


They check to see if they combined for additional strength or if they seemed to always be that way.

 

The mountain is tall, though the spinning top seems to have no issue climbing up it. The Earth Guardian's boulders appears to have become spiked, most likely to grip the mountain.


They appear to have always been that way, most likely conjoined upon creation.

 

Fable looks up, getting a bit bored.


“Any last words?” The figure asks, lifting them up above their head.

 

The world looks almost like a wall, sloped mountain throwing off Fable's view. Eventually it begins to return to normal as houses appear ahead.


The champion makes a gurgling sound, unable to speak but looking scared.

 

Fable looks for people milling about.


They seem cross.
“No, you don’t know, do you? If I could make exceptions, I would. Unfortunately, your story ends here. You will not be reborn again.”
They put the champion back on the ground.
“I was going to deem you a worthy sacrifice, but you fear your end. Give me a reason to sacrifice you, instead of wasting you away.”

 

The giant continues on weakly.

 

"Alright."

He tries to focus on his inner self and then on Sgavrinn, hoping he can let his inner self watch with him.

 

Earth guardians walk about as Fable is taken into the city, the Earth Guardians emerging from their boulders. The spinning tops stop moving, and Katie immediately dismounts hers.


The champion just moves about slightly, gurgling. It seems Shadow Stephanie barely left them alive.

 

Fable steps off, looking at the three guardians who led her here.



“Should I just put you out of your misery?”

After a while, you think you succeed.

Okay, not bad. Sure enough, you can. They’re not there anymore, though.

Ted licks your hip.

 

The guardians seem to be talking to each other, planning things out for Katie and Fable.


The champion gurgles pleadingly.

 

Fable steps over to Katie.
“You been here before?”


The figure nods.
“No hard feelings. She’s a wasteful fool.”
That’s the last thing the champion hears before being turned to dust.

 

"Seems like it."

"Where do you think they went?"

 

The giant tries to piece Ted back together as he walks.

 

Ted’s just in two pieces with your hand in between.

I dunno. They went down. Maybe there’s someone else we could see through?

 

Didn’t he drip off somehow when the giant went to stab him?

 

Magma dripped off, but that’s Ted’s drool anyways.

 

Right.
Well, the giant continues to pet him on the head anyways.

 

Katie shakes her head.

"Guardians don't hurt other Guardians. I'm sure we're welcome." Katie says positively.


The crowd goes wild in the colosseum, an explosion able to be heard.

 

He takes a quick look around the room, thinking of where he could be.

 

Ted starts to calm down a bit, but seems weary.

Fortunately (?), a fae throws an acorn at you.
“Hey, your stupid antics pushed them away from the crystal. You want to hang back and try to get more people out, or take your stupid dog home?”

Fable nods.
“I just don’t want to accidentally hurt anyone badly. I mean, I knocked on the ground like it was a door, and you felt what happened.” She says with a hushed voice.


The figure leaps up and tries looking into the coliseum from above.

He seems to be a few stories up, but the room is utterly massive - the size of a city.
