Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

The giant scratches Ted for a solid half a minute, before getting his foot out of the portal and heading after the group.

 

"Appeasement of this weapon is the best option. Attempting to defeat it, based on the traits given, has a one in sixty seven thousand eight hundred and ninety one chance of success at this current moment," Eve says, "With Shadow Stephanie and I's abilities."

 

They already went up the spire, though they seem to be bottlenecked there.
"You done pampering your pet?"

"And how would you go about that, or finding it for that matter?"

 

"I'm not sure. I was certain you could assist with that." Eve says.

 

There's four other lights, and by the time you reach what looks like the end of the tunnel, Gram's visible unconscious under the wyvern.
"Oh, I didn't expect you tonight." He says, a bit surprised.

"I'm not going to be much help until I figure out which weapon we're dealing with. Blood sacrifices are usually a good start, though." She shrugs.

 

"Same here. I didn't know you were here." He says, also rather surprised.

 

"What sort of blood sacrifice?" Shadow Stephanie asks, interested.

 

“No, but I’m done taking care of my foot.”
He responds telepathically.

 

Emerald turns.
“Show yourself. Answer her yourself.”

The figure uncloaks, tapping their cheek with their claws.
“Hmm... othersouls trying to appease us? Bathe me in the blood of six champions, greater than those you command. Do so in a timely manner, and I will consider you a neutral entity.” He growls, static making his speech somewhat difficult to hear.

“You’re used to working solo, aren’t you?”

“I live here.” He sighs. “Anyhow, if you could leave that medicine next to the table to your right, I’d appreciate it.”

 

"Eh. Mostly solo."

 

"Ofcourse."

He places the medicine on the table and leaves.

 

"Shouldn't be too difficult." Shadow Stephanie shrugs.

"What is your exact time constraint for 'Timely'?"

 

“Two weeks, no chronomancy. Bodies must be live until the bloodletting. Don’t keep me waiting, your agenda means nothing to me.”

“Thanks. Have a good night.”

“Your cooperation skills are lacking.”

 

"Two weeks. Six bodies. Three bodies a week is most efficient." Eve says.

Shadow Stephanie waves Eve over and whispers to her.

 

“Thank you for the status report. I will make sure to improve upon my mistakes.”
The giant responds robotically and sarcastically.

 

"Good night."

Bardock's gone.

 

The figure leaves without another word.

“Snark aside, get up here and bash a barrier, will you?”

Rema’s stirring up a mixture that has a faint green glow.
“Well, did you have a particular spirit in mind?”

 

"We'll be back with that blood soon." Shadow Stephanie says confidently, turning to leave with Eve.

 

The figure makes one more appearance.
“Oh, it wouldn’t be fair if I forgot the most important term... I perform the bloodletting. Can’t let you go trying to trick me like the others.”

 

"And how do we contact you to do that?" Shadow Stephanie asks.
