Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

Eve just turns and leaves.


The girl jumps backwards to get distance from them. Her emotions are impossible to tell from behind the mask though.

 

He walks over to Rema and grabs the medicine.
"Your partner?"

 

The cryofluid starts to thaw and crack, and they start to stir.

"The wyvern."

 

"You're talking about Gram?"

 

The girl looks around for anyone coming to assist.

 

Avis is watching, but doesn't come down.
The draconian pushes out of the ice, gasping for air before messing with the timer, adding another thousand years and making a decoy to refreeze.
"One word." They growl, running their finger across their throat. "Clear?"

"No, Gram's in there too."

 

The girl nervously backs up, glancing behind her to see how far she is from the ladder.

 

The draconian's claws detach into daggers, and with a lunge one is held at the girl's neck.
"Clear?" They growl, a bit of static audible in their breathing.

 

The girl nods, body language showing fear.

 

They step back, putting their dagger-claws back in their slots before diving off the platform and phasing through the floor, leaving no other trace behind.

 

The girl runs to the ladder and slides down it, running out of the cryo room.

 

Avis flies down with her, but doesn't leave the cryo room.

 

The girl runs to the library, looking for Emerald.

 

She's nowhere to be found, but there's a list with sixteen... names or words, something... on the front desk, in some sort of other language.

 

The girl looks around for anyone else of authority, scared.

 

There's nobody else in the library, but Xlentia's chambers might be a good next stop.

 

The girl runs to Xlentia's chambers, looking for Xlentia.

 

She's laying there, seeming bored.
"Oh, finally, someone to talk to." She sighs. "What do you want, little mortal?"

 

The girl takes her mask off, and her disguise fades, revealing herself to be Onyx in her human form.

"t-there was a p-purrson in the c-cryo room and they escaped and threatened me!" Onyx says hastily, scared.

 

Xlentia sighs.
"You sure you're not being tricked by illusions? Nobody's coming out of the cryo room anytime soon, except for the little green dragon."
