Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Well, what if he's upset?"
The giant fits the mask around his nose, then digs around in a portal more.

 

“Oh, come in, come in!” She calls.

“Then he’s upset. He’s already stuck on your hand.”

 

"Fine, I guess."
The giant takes his hand out of the portal, realizing that it'd probably be faster to just make what he's after.
In the air in front of him he starts making something out of wood and nails.

 

Shadow Stephanie pets Avis for a moment, before heading toward the source of the howl.

 

Bardock walks further into the cave.
"So what are you up to?"

 

The other two just wait, Ted panting happily in the meantime.

Sgavrinn seems to be mostly in one piece, aside from stitches all around one leg, a wing, and all the way down his torso.
Ihra seems to be working on healing him.
“Well, at least your tail won’t be crooked anymore...” She says, patting him gently on the head.

“Working on medicine. Disinfectant, more specifically.” Rema says, stirring a mixture in her cauldron.

 

The nails fly into the giant's mouth before he sticks the wood in to block air. The nails then poke out of his mouth, piercing through his lips, before the wood is coated in metal, and the giant gives a thumbs-up.

 

Shadow Stephanie decides to turn invisible for a bit, observing.

 

"Hey, Rema, you spoke of talking to the dead earlier, didn't you?"

 

Sgavrinn whimpers as Ihra looks at his tail, some scales ripped off.
“It’ll be okay, I promise. I’ll get you to Artemis.” Ihra reassures him, though he doesn’t seem to want to move. At all.

She looks up.
“Yes, why?”

“You’re weird.” The dryad grumbles.
“Whatever works, I guess.” Erre shrugs.

Ted looks at you, confused.

 

The giant scratches Ted on the head, a bit focused on moving forward.

 

"She can't help," Shadow Stephanie says, seemingly stepping out from the shadows, "At least, not without your assistance first."

 

"What would it take you to do it?"

 

Sgavrinn is startled, then screams out in pain.
“Shh, shh... it’ll be okay...” Ihra says, petting him again.
“Is she hurt too?” Ihra asks telepathically, obviously trying to hide the conversation from Sgavrinn.

“There’s a couple of poison berries that react with each other to make a gel. A bit of that, and I can open a window into the realm of spirits.”

Erre lets the sphere collapse, moving forward.
Ted seems content being in the smoke, sniffing the air a bit.

 

"Badly. She isn't healing for some reason; some kind of lingering nullmagic." Shadow Stephanie says.

 

The giant scratches behind Ted's ear a bit as he follows Erre.

 

“Sapping bullets... In both of them, or just Artemis?” She asks.

His tail wags, stirring the smoke behind you as you walk.

There’s another branch, Ted growling down one.

 

"Both. We removed the bullets and any shards of them left. It doesn't make sense." Shadow Stephanie says.

 

"Anytime?"

 

"Ted's growling again."
The giant links with the dryad to tell them.
