Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"It's just one pocket dimension. I'm a hoarder."
He says confidently, before presenting three standard-looking surprisingly clean gas masks, all proper size for non-giants.
"...Shit. Eh, whatever."

 

“Why don’t you ask Emerald or Ihra? They’re both in right now.”

“What, did you stuff a damn planet in there?”

 

"Where?" Shadow Stephanie asks.

 

“Archives and petting Avis respectively.”

 

Shadow Stephanie puts the book back, running to and vaulting over the edge of the current floor.

 

It’s a three story drop, but magic’s in place to slow her fall just before she hits the ground.

 

"No clue. I didn't make it."

 

Shadow Stephanie catches herself with wings beforehand, crown bouncing onto her head as she walks out of the library.

 

Xlentia’s sitting halfway outside her palace, her tail poking out into the hall. Assuming she doesn’t move, getting around her won’t be a problem.

The dryad just sighs.
“Well, I’m not in a position to complain much at the moment, and I have a feeling I know where you’re going with those.”

 

Shadow Stephanie walks around the edge of Xlentia's tail, progressing toward the cryo room.

 

"Like what? I think that you should probably put them on before this bubble shrinks, but that's it."

 

The door’s open, Avis sitting near the door.

“I shrunk it to maintain it longer. I mean, not needing to maintain it would be even easier.” Erre shrugs.

 

Shadow Stephanie smiles at Avis, reaching down to pet her.

 

"Well, sight would be blocked, but we'd have the advantage over anyone who needs to breathe."
The giant offers Erre a mask.
"Once I figure out how to fit this over my huge face."

 

"You got it."
He starts sprinting after Anne.

 

Avis steps back and chirps once before calming down and sitting down closer to Shadow Stephanie.
“Avis, give it a minute.” Ihra calls, a pained howl audible afterwards.

“Over your nose only, maybe?” He asks, taking it and trying to put it on.

It takes only a minute to get to the mouth of Rema’s cave, but the first raindrops are starting to fall, Anne yelping and rushing inside.

 

"Maybe, but then I can't talk to Ted..."
The giant jokes, before offering the dryad a mask and fumbling with his own.

 

"Dry space."

He goes inside.
"Rema! Are you home?"

 

“Even better.” The dryad grumbles, putting on the mask.

“Yes, who is it?” She calls, both a red and blue glow visible down the branching tunnel.

 

"Bardock and Anne!"
