Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

She startles the group, one of them falling off the island in what would be a fatal drop if they lacked the ability to fly.

The air gets colder and thinner the higher Idhaenna goes, the sky turning from blue to black.

 

A precise and strong gust of wind keeps the one who fell from falling far at all, putting them right back on their feet.
“You might consider standing a little further from the edge next time you tease a goddess.” She tells them telepathically, winking before vanishing for them as well.

She continues up, flying out of satellite range before testing for possible telepathic links.

 

The air guardian just looks a little dazed.

She passes another air guardian as she flies into space, seemingly able to breathe despite the lack of air and heat. However, there doesn't appear to be any telepathic links.

 

She leaves an open connection into the vastness of space before bending space a bit to get further away from Earth and potentially attract Caelia’s attention.

 

She doesn't feel anyone take the connection, space beautiful if feeling a little empty.

 

She opts to continue gliding on, flying by at FTL speeds as she leaves the connection open.


Emerald approaches the gates of the Shadow Palace.
“Where’s your king?” She asks, not bothering to look up from the tome she’s paging through.

 

Idhaenna feels something for a split second as she zooms through space, before it disappears again.


"Occupied." One of the guards says.

 

She turns around, slowing down and looking for it again.


“Injured or off on personal affairs?”

 

Idhaenna finds it on one of the planets she passes, the presence feeling like powerful magic.


"Personal affairs." The guard says quickly, half lying.

 

She approaches it, curious.


Emerald looks up at them, doubtful.
“Okay, fine... let me guess... both he and his girl got injured during one of their... shall we say, adventures?”

 

Ihaenna finds a woman standing on the planet's surface, wearing an elegant dress, black heels and a large-brimmed hat. She seems to be staring out into the cosmos.


The guard doesn't respond.

 

Idhaenna tries telepathically linking with her.
“Hello?”


Emerald rolls her eyes.
“Medical wing?”

 

The woman simply turns to Idhaenna, smiling.


The guard still doesn't respond.

 

“Would you be Caelia?” Idhaenna asks, stopping.


“Okay, fine, I’ll have EBB go find them.” Emerald sighs as she turns to leave.

 

The woman nods.


The guard stays where he is.

 

"So.. about the gift."

He takes out the pie from idk where.
"We got you a pie."

 

Idhaenna transforms to her smaller form and bows.
“Idhaenna. Apparently you’re my counterpart of this reality, or one of them. Goddess of Space?”


Emerald sighs.
“You’re a bad liar, but your proceeding emotionlessness is commendable.” She says, leaving.

Anne’s holding it telekinetically.
She sets the box down in front of Siln.
“Oh, thank you! You really didn’t have to, though.”

 

Caelia nods, though remains quiet.


The guard, as usual, says nothing.

 

Idhaenna seems mildly concerned.
“Have I made a poor name for myself already?”


Off in the wilderness, Fenira starts arranging her petrified encounters in a ring, hoping to keep some shadow beasts at bay.

 

"No, not at all." Caelia says quietly.


It doesn't seem to work, another lion-like beast smashing one of them and roaring; rows of sharp teeth exposed.
