Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

The flowers begin to curl up and wither.

 

He does the same as last round and looks for any scaled creatures.
"Still counting pets?"

 

I keep moving along, seeing what there is to see.

He heads to one of the offices, knocking on the door.

 

She stops the moment she sees the curling.

You count dozens...
"Uh... no, there's too many..."

Mines, the occasional house... there doesn't seem to be any buildings close to any others at all. There's not even a particularly visible tower.

It opens.
"She's due to come to in three days. What do you need?"

 

The flowers uncurl slightly, but they'll probably take a bit longer to heal.

A bird flies above Rose, flapping it's wings as it heads toward the center island.

 

I just keep walking, looking for anything interesting.

“Cool. That’s what I was wondering. I’m off, then.”
He drops into a portal, disappearing.

 

"They are all shapeshifters, right? I wonder why they are all scaled."

 

Rose tries giving the flower a bit of life magic.

“Scales are tough, harder than skin. Maybe protection?”

A few open pit mines, an inn built over the middle of a lake... there aren’t any obvious points of interest.

 

The flower sprouts back to life, petals uncurling.

 

"Maybe they aren't creative."

He sighs and thinks for a second.
"Okay, maybe only dragons then? There can't be a lot of people who look like dragons."

 

“That has to narrow it down.” Anne says. “Let’s do that.”

There are only three dragons, and they tower over the crowd.

Rose continues her aimless stroll, trying to relax.

 

Rose eventually sees what looks to be a young adult girl sitting on the grass by the island's edge a bit of a distance from her. Long blue pigtails trail behind her, partially covering a white shirt.

 

Rose checks her for a soul or life signature.

 

"Hmm.. three. What about you?"

 

“I see eight... are you only counting the big ones, because there are little ones too.”

 

I check out the mines to see what's being mined.

 

"The big ones caught my eyes. Let me see again."

He searches some lower in the crowd.

 

Niether seens to be present, the girl holographic.

 

Looking towards the ground, you can see the occasional small dragon, including a few wyrms snaking around others' feet.

Rose opts to try and keep some distance, continuing on otherwise.

It looks to be iron and copper.

 

Rose eventually finds Shadow Stephanie and Stephanie again, speeding across one of the islands at high speed. They appear to be chasing after something.
