OOC: Does the light kill Arnold before he kills me, or am I already dead?
I continue studying it, curious about the light. Unconsciously, I murmur, "I wonder who caused that light..."

 

OOC: Just before. But, the mace still comes down and makes the vision go black.

"Could be anyone skilled with light magic."

 

Again, unconsciously I reply, "Who is skilled with Light Magic...maybe I already know this person..."

 

"Could be anyone who uses light magic. You think I'd know?"

Suddenly, I snap into reality. I shout out, "LUPHYX!"

 

Reflet would let out an exasperated sigh.

Xephyr would find nothing in the likes of traps, though a few massive looking bats would fly out of the cave as soon as she'd go near it. Avis would growl softly at the bats as they leave the cave.

OCC: Trying out a new rp type of wording with the would stuff. Picked it up from a rp server, not sure how much I like it.

 

OOC: IMO its confusing

 

"I'm... wait. There's hope. Three of them went in. If they caught a break for even a moment, they could ascend. Virei'tus could escape..."
Lyla bows her head to nothing in particular.

OOC: Using that style makes more sense when putting in an action you're unsure the host will validize.
Since you're a god, I like to think I'm lax about it. (I don't know if I am, considering that's a matter of opinion)

If you want to try to use it, that's fine, but your old way made more sense with how this is run as a whole.

 

OCC: IMO it would be confusing if it would be used in long sentences like it would be used right now.

Kalais and Zethes burst into molecules, only to appear a few seconds later at the front of the cave.

Khione turns into a snowy owl and flies after them before reverting back to a human.

(OCC: I put down would like three times before erasing it... Wow)

 

Lyla seems shaken, but that changes quickly.
"Elder, dire news..."
"More?!"
"Some people, in a group with Ihra, defeated Xlentia... They dragged her back into the Void."

Lyla just looks shocked.
