Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

She opts to approach the dragon.
"Hello?"

 

The dragon lazily looks toward Rose.

"Hello." The dragon says.

 

"Sorry to disturb you, I'm new to the area. Do you know anyone who'd be willing to show me around, or teach me a bit about guardian culture?"

 

The dragon thinks for a bit, blinking slowly.

"You could try asking her." The dragon says, nodding to the fire guardian with dragon wings before yawning. As the dragon yawns, it reveals many large and extremely sharp teeth in it's mouth.

 

"Is it that special when Arga works on something?"She's just a tailor, right?"

 

"Alright, thanks." She nods, heading towards the winged guardian.

"She's the only tailor that makes custom clothes. Sort of sad, so yeah... it is pretty much that special when she works on something."

 

The guardian seems to be leaning against a wall, watching the smoke rise from the volcanoes.

 

"Oh. Well it's good for the company, so why don't other tailors do it aswell?"

 

"There just aren't other tailors."

"Excuse me?" Rose asks, approaching slowly.

 

"Hm?" The fire guardian responds, glancing over at Rose.

 

"Oh, that explains it."

 

"I'm sorry to trouble you, but would you be able to show me around or help me learn about guardian culture?" Rose asks, seeming a bit uncertain.

"I don't know why, Arga always complains about a backlog. There's definitely room in the market for more."

 

"Uh, sure. Did you want to see anywhere in particular?" The fire guardian asks.

 

"I didn't have anywhere in mind, really. Gaia just dropped me off here to meet her children of my element while she talks with Lady Praecantatia." Rose shrugs.

 

"Yeah, some competition is always useful for a company."

 

"Oh, you've spoken with Lady Gaia? She's quite pleasant to talk to, isn't she?" The fire guardian says, brightening up.

 

"Yes, very. Everything around her is a wonderful change of pace from the place I was exiled from." Rose says happily.

"More for the consumers, really. Keeps prices down and all."

 

"I guess hell must be pretty harsh, watching all those people suffer." The fire guardian says.

 

"No, I'm from somewhere that's... maybe worse off. Another reality, another set of gods and goddesses... completely plagued by war." She sighs. "I've never really been one for torture, honestly."

 

"Huh. I didn't know there were other realities." The fire guardian says, surprised.
