"And how can I do that when you're here slicing through my means of communication?" echoes a newly sprouted flower. Flowers keep on sprouting.

 

"Work on your people skills. Maybe we wouldn't be in this mess if you actually had decided to get something akin to a body, but that's your choice." I say, continuing to slice through the flowers.

Artemis shifts in her sleep slightly; and dark green vines sprout around her and dig into the ground. They seem to draw the life from the ground around me; making it infertile and weakening the strength of your communication flowers.

The bed of cotton Artemis sleeps on expands, reaching out to Stephanie and her forest fairy.

 

I sprout far enough from you to not be affected. I shout out, "I HAVE PLANS! I AM ONLY USING THIS FLOWER AS MEANS TO GATHER INFORMATION!" I descend into the ground. Communication flowers sprout far enough from you to not be affected.

 

"Ulterior motives..." I say to myself.

I prepare to start running toward the flowers, before Abigail picks me up with her tail, throws me and tail-whips me over.

I hold Shadow Katana out as I land and proceed to start spinning; bouncing over to the flowers like an angry spherical lawnmower.

 

"At least try something conventional" echoes a newly sprouted flower. Flowers just sprout whenever one gets cut.

 

I think for a moment, looking skyward.

"Remember Leo?" I say, smirking, "He's still 'Alive' you know."

 

"Yes. And you savages killed a seal." echoes a flower.

 

"That was Nyre; Katie, nor any of us, would harm Sebastian." I say, slightly saddened.

"Artemis holds the key to getting Leo back. Act a little nicer and I might convince her to give him back." I say.

 

I sprout form the ground a few feet away, but still audible. "Sure, whatever you say, old chum." I say sarcastically, before descending back into the ground.

 

"Welp, I guess he'll stay in an infinite abyss of pain if you're going to act like that. I wonder what being tortured to death, only to be brought back healthy and tortured to death again feels like..." I say, smirking.

 

"You don't want to know." echoes a flower.

 

"Maybe he could tell you...if he ever gets brought back." I say, "Though, I'd need to convince Artemis; and to do that, you'd need to be a little nicer."

 

"And to do that you need to stop pestering me." echoes a flower.

 

"I still don't understand why Leo is even being punished here. It's not like he did anything deserving of an eternity of misery."

It seems your scuffling about has woken me.

 

"And to do that you need to stop trying to gather information to use against us." I say, smirking.

"I believe Artemis used it as a gambling chip to get Drake to stop fighting. That, or she really hated Leo." I say.

 

"And to do that you need to stop actively attempting to kill me." echoes a flower.

 

"And she couldn't have, I don't know, just left him as is? If I remember correctly, he was trapped in a crystal. You don't have to threaten or hurt people to make them toe your lines. Which is why continuing to slice away at flowers isn't getting anyone anywhere."

 

"And to do that, you need to stop having ulterior motives." I reply.

"I'm actually pretty sure Artemis has forgotten about Leo anyway. Bringing up the topic will most likely be enough to convince her bring him back." I say, slicing a flower in half.

 

"My point stands. To do that y'all need to stop attempting to kill me." echoes a flower. More flowers sprout.

 

I audibly sigh.

I appear in front of you and off to the side slightly, my gauntlet extended out, blocking your katana. I look at you exasperatedly, as if saying 'really?'.
