"Uhm.. not sure. Mark probably has enough room for all of us though."

 

“Should we just wake everyone up, then?”

 

"Why's that?" Shadow Stephanie asks.


The vines of the necklace unravel a bit, increasing it's overall size and allowing it to be moved past Amethyst's horns.

 

"Yeah, might as well let the dragons know we're leaving."

 

“It identifies individual souls, and rejects facades or two souls too close together.”


Unnerved, she puts it on normally.

“Well... have fun, I’m not gonna be the one waking a dragon.” Anne says, a bit nervous.

 

"And you're as helpful as ever, sweety."

He slowly approaches the female dragon and lightly taps her nose.
"Miss dragon?"

 

She stirs slowly.
“...You’re either brave or foolish. What’s going on?”

 

"Hm. Well, don't let anything happen to her." Shadow Stephanie says, taking off Stephanie's helmet so she can appear beside her.


The vines re-twist, but they never seem to get close enough together that they could strangle Amethyst.

 

“If either of you came to harm, Idhaenna’d probably torture me.”
Lenka pulls a visor and set of armbands down from the ceiling.
“This is the setup.”


She leaves them be, looking over Leilia’s new dress.

 

"Advanced. I like it." Shadow Stephanie says, taking the visor and armbands and putting them on.


Solus and Leilia talk among themselves, appearing to be happy. Bea stays beside Amethyst, keeping watch.


Meanwhile...

Katie hops through a portal into the void palace, near to the library. She decides to freeze the ground under her to skate through the halls, the ice melting once she gets far enough away. Katie decides to head toward Xlentia's chambers, watching the people she passes by.

 

A holodisplay shows up on the visor, displaying a menu.
“This is StellarNet. You have access to hundreds of artificial moons of information, classes, simulations, and games. All at your fingertips... and thanks to Stella, all free.”


She skates by Rose, Xlentia’s chamber doors wide open.

 

"I just wanted to tell you that the storm has stopped and that we have someone to take us to the island. Me and others will be leaving soon."

A while having passed, Keila’s ball lights up blue again.

 

"Let me guess, I have to watch ads to get special gems in order to any kind of progression?" Shadow Stephanie asks.


Katie waves to Rose happily as she skates through the doors to Xlentia's chambers.

 

The ziz picks it up, eyeing it curiously.

A holographic woman appears on the ‘screen.’
“No, that ruins the experience. Plus, it’s mildly insulting to think of.”

Lenka offers another set to Stephanie.


Rose smiles as she passes.

Xlentia’s face is buried in her gold pile.

“Oh, that’s good to hear. You all be safe, you hear? I want my children to have a few outsiders they won’t fear.”

 

"Hey?"
Voidfiller's voice comes through.

 

It lets out a curious hum.
"What is it girl?"
A low growl, then a low chirp.
"...Sure, fine, I'm game. Who's there?"

 

"Voidfiller."

 

"And you want what?"

 

Stephanie looks at it confused for a moment, before putting it on.

"Who are you? Some kind of tutorial mascot?" Shadow Stephanie asks.


"Xlentia? Is something wrong?" Katie asks innocently.
