Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Mark visited. Apparently, a god stopped the fight between him and the Ziz."

 

“Shit, I’ll be back in a minute.” Lenka says, running out.


Amethyst looks towards the queen, almost hypnotically.

“It’s over?” She asks, perking up.

 

"Yeah. Mark is waiting at the bay, ready for us to take us to the island."

 

“What about the others?”

 

"The ruins got flooded and mostly destroyed. I didn't ask him how the others were, but the Ziz is still alive."

 

Shadow Stephanie decides to snoop around the room, looking for secrets.


"Oh, hello. Who is this, Bea?" Leilia asks, smiling as she notices Amethyst.

"Amethyst. Artemis' crystal worked, and cured her." Bea says happily.

"That's excellent news. Why is Abigail unconscious and devoid of clothing though?" Solus asks, looking at Artemis and Abigail.

"One of your guards knocked her out, she was attempting to attack Amethyst after she took apart her clothes," Artemis explains, "We'll be taking our leave now. I'm sorry for her behavior."

"Well, I'm sure that can be pardoned on account on you helping Amethyst." Leilia says happily.

 

"Oh, great. Just what we need." She groans.

There seems to be a smaller holoprojector off to the side, but nothing else.


"You look like mother." Amethyst says, looking at Leilia.

 

"I know. It's not that great of an outcome."

"Also, Mark talked about some sort of plan involving me and Sgavrinn."

 

“Who’s plan?”

 

"I don't know. Two unknown people."

"It gives me the chills, you know that?"

 

“It would, of course. I don’t really want to believe it.”

 

"I believe Mark on his word. We won't know until the day comes ofcourse."

 

“I still don’t like it. At all.”

 

Shadow Stephanie takes off Stephanie's helmet, appearing next to her. Stephanie stumbles a bit, blinking as if waking up from a long rest.

"U-Uuugh..." Stephanie groans, trying to clutch at her chest.

"How are you feeling?" Shadow Stephanie asks.

"I-I overdid it..." Stephanie groans.

"You should know better than to use your magic like this," Shadow Stephanie sighs, "But, I'm glad you're alright. Do you want me to take over for you for a bit longer?"

"Mother said I had to do the tour, to collect information on their technology." Stephanie says.

"Trust me, you're not missing much." Shadow Stephanie says flatly.

"Well...I guess I can let you take over for a bit longer. It's nice not having to use my body while I'm so weak." Stephanie says, smiling.

"That's the spirit!" Shadow Stephanie says, possessing Stephanie again.

"Thanks, Stephanie." Stephanie says happily, before her eyes turn red.

Shadow Stephanie puts Stephanie's helmet back on.


"Oh, well, that's kind of you to say." Leilia says happily.

 

Lenka runs back in.
“Okay, uh... I can show you your chambers, but I think we lost someone.”


“You... just don’t have... the... the, uh...”
Amethyst glances at Bea.
“What’s the thing called?” She asks, pointing to her chest and running it in a loop around her neck.

 

"Who did you lose?" Shadow Stephanie asks.


"Necklace?" Bea guesses.

 

“Cousin.”


“Yeah, necklace.”

 

"Want me to help find him? Shadows are good at tracking people down." Shadow Stephanie asks.


"Well, I do have a few necklaces I wear on occasion." Lielia says.

 

“Are you good with solar radiation?”


Amethyst touches the tip of her tongue with each claw once, then starts waving her claws around as a massive necklace forms, amethyst gems woven into various patterns that vary from hypnotic, ornate, and more. Closer inspection appears to tell a story when looked at clockwise.

 

"No, but this armour probably is." Shadow Stephanie says, tapping Stephanie's chestplate.


Bea looks at the necklace, amazed.

"How did you do that?" Bea asks, mindblown.
