Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Xlentia. We freed her after all." Shadow Stephanie says.


Bea stays at Amethyst's side, trying to help. Artemis grows a large strawberry, taking an arrow to carefully cut it open with.

 

"Right. How did you fight go?"

 

"I was going to guess it was by element, but that's also reasonable... except didn't your group also save Gaia, and you Idhaenna?"


"Something seems funny, Bea..." Amethyst aimlessly complains.

"It... could have gone worse. Both of us are fine, I think... or will be, anyways."

 

"We fought off the armies trying to attack Gaia, and I just ran around in a mech suit blowing stuff up while my elite guardians protected stuff." Shadow Stephanie says.


"What's wrong?" Bea asks, concerned.

Artemis hollows out the strawberry carefully, trying to keep it's form as she puts her crushed plants and berries inside.

 

"Fair enough." Lenka says, opening a door.


"My... my, uh... this... this feels funny." She complains, holding her snout.

 

"So the Ziz is still alive?"

 

Shadow Stephanie looks inside, curious.


"Here, eat this. It'll help." Artemis says, offering the large strawberry to Amethyst. It appears to be thrice the size of a normal strawberry, and it's stem is missing.

 

"Not quite... a god intervened, and put us both in our places."

There's a few telescopes, a holotable with a starchart, and what seems to be a way to identify what you look at.


Amethyst tries cramming the berry down her mouth before looking at Bea like a lost child.

 

"A god you say?"

 

"Okay... not just any god, but Gaia herself."

 

"So how did you rig up all this tech?" Shadow Stephanie asks, stepping inside to get a closer look.


Bea smiles, taking the strawberry and growing a large wooden cup below it. Bea puts the strawberry inside before compressing the cup, squishing the strawberry and it's contents into a viscous goo. Bea then carefully pours the contents of the cup into Amethyst's mouth.

"Don't tell me we're going to have to put her in nappies next." Abigail says, rolling her eyes at the scene.

 

"The creator of the earth? That Gaia?"

 

“You’d have to ask Idhaenna, she organizes the construction of every arkship.” Lenka admits.

Everything looks like the Realm of Light took a less-warlike path, except even more advanced.


“That... that’s mean.” Amethyst pouts, pointing at Abigail shakily... which causes all of her clothes, sans boots, to unravel on the spot.

"Wow, that's really something. Bet that doesn't happen that often, does it?"

 

“Never has before.”

 

"Must have been a REALLY big deal if it happened. How far did you go?"

 

“I don’t know. Adrenaline makes that hard to remember.”

 

"At least you've not got people hooked up to machines and turned into cyborg warriors..." Shadow Stephanie comments.


Abigail's face turns tomato-red, quickly trying to cover up her private areas with her arms and hands.

"What the hell is wrong with you, pervert!?" Abigail asks, annoyance quickly prevailing over embarrassment, "I swear to god, all of you dragons are some kind of perv who want to see me without my clothes on!"

Artemis sighs, putting her head in hands.

 

"Can't be good. Be ready to hear more about it in the future." He smiles.

 

“Only if they ask for it.” Lenka shrugs.


The mass of threads turns into a robe.
“Ugly.” Amethyst pouts.

“Yeah, the past has a way of catching up with you.” Mark sighs.
