Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

OOC: Reminds me of neutral endings in Undertale. *shudders* Also don't underestimate what you don't know. Namely the secret organization that--

I yawn and stretch. It seems that I was sleeping, not meditating. I suddenly jump up, whirling around, grabbing a dagger out of my robe as I do, and throwing it. It clatters to the ground, since I didn't at all look at my surroundings. I seem a bit disoriented.

Proceed as normal if you aren't in Aj's group.

If you are, you can input actions, but it won't do much considering Xlentia can just step on you if she wants to kill you with little effort.

OOC: Is Xlentia currently there in a physical form?

 

OOC: As far as you can tell, yes.
(It's at least physical enough to be able to kill Ihra by stepping on her)

EDIT: Rewind is at the point before Aj bailed but after Rineth is clearly dead.

 

OOC: Ok then, Good enough.
I look at Xlentia. "Howdy!" I say, mostly unfazed.

 

"Hmm? Another mortal...
You are?"

 

"Helianthus, but please don't tell the others my name. I want to keep that a secret."

 

"'Mortal' is easier to remember, anyways... Are you too out for Ihra, or do you simply have quarrel with the shadow and company?"

 

"I have a quarrel with the shadow and company, or as I like to call them, 'The Big Three.' Other than that I have nothing against the rest of the company." I ponder for a moment. "So, I assume you're out for Ihra?"

 

"The girl has caused me significant problems... They thought giving her the staff would cause me to give her mercy... They were wrong. I respect your distaste for her comrades, though."

 

"Ok, I'll check on Ihra and the others."
I fly in the same direction as last time.

OOC: Because of where this place in the Shrouded Peaks is, there should be a fairly straight line between Eras' current location, where Ihra was before the flight and where they are now.

"Haha yes-
Hmm... this is interesting. We'll let the Infernal Beast do its work while we go and take a look at something."
Arnold starts flying west, turning halfway round Fellak and then continuing west.

Hythania climbs onto Hryth and the wyvern flies away.
Both Hryth and Aura fly into the air slightly. Both of them shriek.

 

"Might I ask, what is it you wish to do with the staff?"

"And I assume once we get back, we'll have a nicely roasted town?"

 

You see a dragon that's easily the size of a city materialize near the border of Brisingr.
Tendrils flow behind its head, and it's evident it notices you.

Xlentia laughs a bit.
"Inferior... you call that a dragon? I must admit, it's kind of cute..."

"There's a seal over the crystal. I intend to weaken it to release a friend. I don't feel like doing it in the Void, though. It'd mess up my beautiful palace... I've had enough fools damage it in the past year, it's really making me outgrow my hoard."

 

"Oh, we will. I was originally planning that to get Eras' attention, but it seems that something else might get his attention."

 

"Interesting...but, if I, or you, were able to find a way into the shadow homeworld, might I recommend weakening the seal in there?"

"I see..."

 

"Hehehee... I think I like you, Mortal. Yes, I would quite like that..."

 

"I am honored."

 

"Oh, hello Xlentia. Nice that I finally get to meet you."

"Hryth? I guess Cloud Dragons don't look like dragons. But they can do this."
Hryth starts drooling over the ground again, making flowers grow.

Arnold continues flying west.

"You should be. Maybe you should consider becoming my servant after this is all over."
