Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

He moans, continuously walking forward.
A minute later, he’s out if sight.

 

"He'll probably return later." He mutters to himself.
He leans back and sees if he can spot any other spirits wandering in the park.

 

There are a few, but not many visible. Most of the population in the garden seems to consist of bees, birds, and other small bugs.

 

Gaia looks at the creature curiously, trying to determine what it is.

 

He waves at some of the visible spirits if they watch his way.

 

It’s hard to tell, but it lazily opens up a frost-covered eye as it floats on, though it seems to have just been blinking with the speed it’s going.

One of the bees comes over and lands on your snout.
“Hello, visitor!”

 

"What creature is that?" Gaia asks.

 

“Dunno, but Idhaenna said to keep an eye out for them.”

 

Gaia looks away, deciding to look around at the other sights.

 

There’s another few groups of spaceships, and one larger holographic zone projected in the distance, which Xlentia immediately turns away from.
“I don’t want to get close enough to interfere with an arkship.” Xlentia mumbles.

 

"What is an arkship?" Gaia asks.

 

Xlentia slows.
“Do you want to wait and hail it?”

 

"What effects would that have?" Gaia asks.

 

"Hello there, bee. Are you enjoying the flowers as much as I do?"

 

“We might wind up talking with it’s captain.” Xlentia shrugs.

“Yes, I’m glad you like them.”

 

"Are there a lot of other people here?"

 

“Yeah, every bird, bee, and bug here.”

 

"If you wish." Gaia shrugs in response.

 

"No other spirits or something?"

 

Xlentia waits, a ship half the size of a planet warping in seconds later.
She touches two claws together, then pushes a tiny spark of dark energy towards the ship, which soon turns into a holographic screen of what looks to be a control room.

"Hail, goddess. You're a rare sight across this star system. What brings you here, and who is your passenger?"
"Oh, this... this is Gaia. From another reality."

The captain bows.

"Well, we're all spirits, technically. I mean, I'm a talking bee. Does that not automatically raise any red flags?"
