Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

As Alex pays attention, he notices some nice touches Crystal put in. All the male and female figurines are different, and their clothes sway as they normally would if dancing. Some have intertwined fingers, and some are just holding hands, but all of them dance the same.

 

"How do you put so much detail into such a small scene?" Alex asks, enjoying the display.

 

“Well, it’s more feeling it than looking at it. Like, I don’t have to look at how I make my hand when I shift to have one.”
A hand and arm rise from the puddle and wave to prove a point, then sink back in.
“So, it’s just a matter of feeling what they look like.”

 

"That's an interesting way of putting it. I know of a few earth guardians that don't need to have their eyes open to see, they can sense simply through vibrations in the ground and feeling their environment." Alex says.

 

“Huh.”
Crystal smiles, his eyes relaxing into his puddle.

 

Alex smiles back, content in his mound of dirt.

 

Crystal giggles at Alex in his pile, his eyes swirling around.

 

Alex tries creating something from his dirt, before hastily putting it back to where it was.

 

“You can do it!”
Crystal encourages.

 

"I think it would be a wiser move for me to keep the dirt close to me." Alex admits.

 

“Well, you’re not using all of it, right?”

 

"I need all of it." Alex sighs.

 

“Oh... well, alright.”
Crystal looks off the head as the figurines continue to dance.

 

Xlentia winds up having to glance back to notice.
"Okay, to the right. Two nebulae and a constellation between them." Xlentia says, glancing at a group of starships passing by.

"...Deeper." The ferret sighs. "I'd ask if you were awake, but that's silly."

 

Alex just tries to relax in his mound.

Gaia looks to the right, curious.

 

Crystal's gaze falls on Alex, seemingly checking him over.

 

Alex's head and upper torso is visible, his arms leading into the mound of dirt. Alex seems to be wearing a light brown shirt with some white writing on it. His shoulders look broad and strong, and his dark brown hair is short; just falling past his ears. Alex's eyes are also brown, and his skin looks slightly paler than most people's.

 

"What's that on your shirt?"
Crystal pipes up.

 

What seems to be orbs of multicolored clouds flank a serpentine line of twelve bluish stars.
"...I gotta hand it to Idhaenna, the stars really are still beautiful without a telescope." Xlentia comments.

 

"Is there something wrong with us going deeper into the garden?"
