Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Eh.. I'll stick around as long as he does. I don't want him to feel lonely or maybe get lost. I don't know what his master will do if anything happens to him."
He has a panicked tone in his voice.

 

“Gaia, you might want to land. I can cover the air.” Xlentia offers.

“You’re not his master?”

 

"Nope. Just friends. I've met his previous owner, but not his current one."

 

“Oh... uh... you might want to keep moving, then.”

 

"Hm?" Gaia asks, looking down.

 

“No, I don’t think I’d like it as much as this.”

 

"Uhm.. why is that? Did I already mess things up?"

 

“I’m keeping these mortals alive just fine.” She says.

“He needs to keep moving or he’ll get pricked.”

 

"Alright, let's keep moving. You be sure to tell me if you're having trouble, alright Sgavrinn?"

 

He nods, still nervous.

 

"You do have fluidity in what you make." Alex says.

Gaia looks for somewhere to land.

 

"There's nothing to worry about. You'll just wake up, that's all."

 

There’s Xlentia’s back, and a gas giant that you can’t really land on.

He nods, still a bit hesitant.

 

"I could try to carry you over the path, but then we might sink together."
He smiles.

 

He seems confused, but nuzzles you anyways.

 

“Eh. Probably.”
He continues working.

 

Gaia slowly descends onto Xlentia's back, sitting on her carefully.

Alex decides to watch, not commenting.

 

"Let's go. Into the garden we go."

 

Eventually the faceless figures start to dance in their pairs. It’s a elegant dance, the movements not seeming puppet-like at all. As their feet detach from the ground, Alex notices that a small string of Crystal’s body keeps the foot attached to his puddle.

 

Alex smiles as he watches, looking at the smaller details.
