Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Do you keep some in reserve?" Alex asks.

 

“No. It’s like eating, but minus most of the steps.”

 

"Ah, I get it. A little like telekinesis?" Alex asks.

 

“Not... really, do you have anything that you don’t care about losing right now?”

 

Alex fumbles around in his pockets, before taking out a few coins; selecting bronze coins out of the ones he has and offering them to Crystal.

 

Crystal just takes one of the coins, sticking it into his chest and shifting to make space. Once in his chest, he rotates it so the face is facing Alex.
“Eventually this coin’ll change into this stuff.”
He taps his head.

 

"Oh, that seems efficient. So you're charged with alchemical magic?" Alex asks.

 

"Then what is it? Are you feeling ill perhaps?"

 

He lifts a foot and carefully puts it down again, uneasy.

 

"Want is it?"

 

“I guess so. I don’t know much about me.”

 

"Have you asked voidfiller?" Alex asks.

 

“Uhh... oh yeah! He said something like ‘I’m busy, ask again later’, and then I didn’t.”

 

Alex laughs.

 

He pokes down at a footprint, slowly sinking into the pathway.

 

"Yeah? What's wrong with that. It's just grass."

 

Crystal giggles a bit.

 

Sgavrinn takes another step, having left another impression in the path with a thorn now visible.

 

"So how did you get here? Did Ihra bring you too?" Alex asks.

 

“Yep! How about you?”
