Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"...I don't think he's a mage. He's just really good at making stuff. Y'know, like a void filler."

 

"Ah, I get his name." Alex says while smiling, amused.

 

"He said that he didn't name himself, but I think he's a liar."

 

"His parents probably named him." Alex shrugs.

 

"From what I know about parents... I dunno, actually."

 

"Oh, don't you know much about biological culture?" Alex asks.

 

"Mmm, not that much. Basics, I think."

 

"Ah, I see. I should've have expected you to know about it." Alex says.

 

"Eh. It's fine. I've spent most of my life on an island, so it only makes sense."

 

"Have you ever wanted to become a human?" Alex asks curiously.

 

"That's... no. I don't think humans can do this, anyways."
Crystal holds up his hand and shifts it into what looks like a webbed hand.

 

"Hm, interesting. So you're like a mix between an Earth and a Water guardian's elemental forms?" Alex asks.

 

"Sure? I dunno what those are."

 

"I'd show you mine, but getting back to human form takes a while." Alex says.

 

"Huh. Well, if you thought of it, I'm probably like that."

 

"Interesting." Alex says, thinking.

 

“Yeah, it’s pretty cool. I can’t really shift into something bigger, though.”

 

"Oh, you can't? I guess you're made of a specific material." Alex says.

 

He shakes his head, glancing behind him.
His weight seems to leave small footprint impressions in the pathway.

 

“Well, I can get more of me, but it feels weird and takes a while so I don’t like to do it a lot.”
